Service started out great. Then our server went home before our main dish arrived. The next guy just didn't want to be there either. The side dishes were amazing, but the steaks were tough and not much for flavor. Mac & cheese was wonderful, hence the three stars. Walking in your shoes stuck to the floors. Everyone walking around was annoying because of the noise.

There were 4 of us. We sat in the bar area. It was not very busy, two other tables and a couple at the bar. We had been told by other locals that it was not their favorite place but we decided to try it for ourselves. There is no reason to go back!

The menu looked good and I was looking forward to a good Filet Mignon. The waitress was friendly and took our orders. We ordered an appetizer which was delicious. The food came out and looked appetizing. Two of us had filets. They were both tough and had the look and texture of Sirloin steak. At $56.00 each, they were certainly not worth half the price. The other two meals were marginal at best. Once our meals were delivered we never saw our waitress again. We had to flag her down to get a check (poor management maybe). We spent over $300 that night. It was a complete waste of money and time. All in all, we would have had a much better meal with better ambience If we had spent $60 at Safeway and done the grilling at home.

I used to live in summit county and this was one of my favorite places - family also loved it. I’ve since moved and hadn't been in a few years, but I was in town and returned the other day. We were very excited about our meal and ended up very disappointed. I went in with my mom and baby daughter early for happy hour. Initially we were disappointed there were no specials (especially on a Saturday?) - we used to love the specials Frisco prime had! So, we ordered martinis, tempura shrimp, and the filet with mushrooms and fries. First our server messed up our appetizer order and brought out the tempura cauliflower instead - it really was no big deal at all but the server was also oddly unapologetic. We initially tried the cauliflower (thinking it was the shrimp) and it was good, but the server took it away once we pointed out we ordered the shrimp; usually I would think they’d offer to leave it at the table if we wanted? Once we got the shrimp, it was also very good! The most disappointing part was the filet we ordered medium rare came out almost medium well. The vegetable served with the steak was oily and limp. Mushrooms also very oily. At least the martinis were good I guess! We would have sent the steak back, but the service had already been so slow and there’s only so much time you can spend eating out with an infant, so we refrained. We figured we’d get quicker service considering we went around 330 and there were about 2 other parties in the whole restaurant. Hoping it was just a one off. Not sure if I’ll return though.

Food was excellent. Service was lacking. There were rowdy customers at the bar ruining the experience. The bar kept serving them even after they were falling off their chairs and turned it into a karaoke bar. They have so much potential but are managed poorly.

After trying a few restaurants around during my 4 days trip, this place was clearly the best. The trout was delicious and the elk super flavorful, cooked perfectly. It wasn’t busy on a Saturday night, which is really surprising!

Was out in Feb visiting family in Copper, this place is a few doors down from the brother-in-laws business and he suggested we go here for a child free meal. Absolutely amazing service, food and wine. Was a real treat and will definitely stop in again next time I'm over.

Great place. Really excellent food. Surprisingly easy to get a reservation. I shocked the place isn’t more packed on a Friday evening.

This place is lovely! We are locals who came for our two year anniversary. Emily was fabulous. Attentive and kind. The pork wings hit!! We got steak, mashed potatoes and mac which were delicious. Finished with a creme brulee. A great spot! Was not disappointed at all, was quite pleased!

If you’re in Summit County and looking for a solid sit-down meal, Frisco Prime is the spot. Great cocktails, cozy ambiance, killer happy hour, delicious bites & A+ service. Our waitress Kelley was excellent & steered my fiancé & I in the right direction with our choices.
