They play on non locals. Even though most of them aren't locals either. I bought several locals drinks. But in the end. .. got hustled. They claim to be better than vail...... but are worse
Great whiskey selection, right by the slopes. Staff was very welcoming as well
Awesome place!!! Great music, owner is hilarious and amazing. 10/10 would come again and again. Can’t wait to visit next year!
Amazing chill bar one minute away from the lifts at Copper. They've got the friendliest staff and bartenders, AMAZING events (Bob Ross night!), and great beer. It feels like a community, where old friends and just folks popping in and out share stories and beers together. If you are in Copper, pop in!
Great selection of drafts and whiskey. Close to the slopes.
I visited around 3pm on February 21, 2025. There were maybe 6 or 7 other patrons. The bar seemed to have just opened. The bartender took my order for one of their house specialities. He then proceeded to completely ignore me and not make my drink while filling those for other patrons, including several of what appeared to be his friends. After 10 minutes of waiting, I assumed that the issue was because I ordered a drink that takes longer to prepare. After 20 minutes of waiting, still with a bar of no more than 7 other patrons and with me clearly in plain view waiting for my order, I knew I was being completely ignored. I left.
Perhaps this terrible service is because I'm Black visiting a bar and a ski resort that is overwhelmingly white. No way to know for sure. But, people of color, beware of this spot.
Marco and Kelsey are both A+ bar tenders. Good conversation, kindness, and will service you right when you need. Best bar in copper and highly recommended
This old dark highway
I drive alone
This old camper van
This stubborn stone
Outside it's 34 degrees
You've got the door wide open
I just came in hoping
that I could get a drink
and wouldn't freeze
This place is so dang cold
my breath hangs in the air
Why did I come here?
Middle of nowhere
Back down to the city
I drive alone
This is my journey
This stubborn stone
Edit: Actually I took down the first review, and then changed this one. I just have to wonder....is there a particular reason on keeping the door open?

Bartender Austin I think his name was, he was great. Great selection! Prices were way higher than everywhere else around. Also they only had soup. A little bit more, at least couple options would help. Just got a beer and a great conversation.

Best bar at copper, great prices, amazing staff, and the soups there are killer. 100/10 I’ll be here all winter.
Vegetarian options: None of the alcohols contain meat so I was relived when I came in for a vegetarian whiskey sour and was able to get one.

Good bar with an excellent selection of whiskey’s at Copper Mountain. Good spot, sort of hidden gem to unwind after skiing it post dinner in Copper’s Center Village. Staff very nice . A New Yorker visiting late season treated with grace.
