We stopped in to try, as we live in the county and have heard ownership had changed and summit Thai (where we planned to go) was closed. The service was pretty good! Greeted at the door and able to find a spot at the bar. The place was pretty full!
The food ended up being pretty ok, we weren’t entirely disappointed with anything (ordered the saag paneer and chicken tikka masala as well as some naan), but it also wasn’t anything to write home about. They didn’t ask for a spice level and normally we are mid to high spice level so it was a bit mild and bland for our taste buds. It’s about the only spot in town for this type of cuisine so if you NEED it, it does the job but other wise wouldn’t return at the price point and quality.
Would love to see improvement in quality because we would love to have a great Indian/himalayan spot to frequent!

This restaurant changed hands last June. We went in a group of 7 with 3 vegans. On asking for vegan options, they were able to veganize about 5 options for us. We had veg pakhoras, mushroom matter and saag without the paneer.. it was all very good. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-06
Had dinner here after a long day of skiing nearby. Really amazing food!! Samosa’s and Chicken Tikka Masala were both delicious! Service was good and the staff was very friendly. Tables were a bit small and is a little pricey, but definitely worth it and would recommend!!

Chicken tikka + cheese naan were awesome, spice was ideal, staff were personable and attentive. The ambiance could use a little zhuzhing but I'll definitely be back [far too often]. Chicken tikka masala 4lyfe.

We are from out of state and decided to give Himalayan Cuisine a shot, and it did not disappoint. A few things if you are headed there, the menu is deceiving as it doesn't mention any sides with the entrees nor that they sell beer and wine. The waiter also didn't mention they had beer and wine, but later the owner or manager came around and told us but by then we were in too deep with how much food we ordered to even consider drinking. We ordered two appetizers and the garlic naan thinking the lamb kabab would only be a simple kabab and we would need more food. Nope, the kabab was actually more of a lamb plate with vegetables and a large bowl of rice. The lamb could have been a little more tender for me personally, but the flavor was delicious! The garlic naan was perfectly crisped and flavored. The vegetable pakora was a whole meal on its own packed with beautiful spices and the perfect balance of potatoes and peas. Lastly, the big winner here were the Momo's. I have a weird thing with most dumpling textures, but when they said steamed to perfection they weren't lying. They were divine and I'm already googling where I can find some in Texas, praying they taste even close.

We heard this place had new ownership and the food was exceptional… it was all true! Saag Paneer, butter chicken, samosas, rice, and the garlic naan were amazing! Chefs kiss! The staff was attentive and proud of their restaurant. Only thing lacking was the atmosphere. The lighting was too bright, could use more decor, music, etc. creating the vibe that the food represents would make it 10/10! Thanks for bringing good Indian Food to Summit :)

The waitress was so mean my sister got up for one second and the waitress gave the table to another person. Wouldn’t go to this place ever again.

This place is awesome! The food is so delicious and the garlic naan is the best I’ve had! There are plenty of amazing vegetarian options. It is under new ownership and the owner and staff are friendly and wonderful. A lot of the reviews are leftover from the previous ownership, so don’t make your decisions based on the older ratings. You won’t be disappointed if you come here; it’s the perfect place to get a hot, delicious meal on a cold and blustery day.

Stopped here for the first time today and was totally impressed. Food was super good, I had the paneer tikka masala and it was amazing! Their Naan is also great! The owners are also so friendly and welcoming. Can't reccomend this place enough and can't think of a better spot to stop to warm up after skiing! I'll definitely be coming back often.

Himalayan Spice greets you with warm, earthy decor that instantly transports you to the heart of Nepal. The low lighting, soft instrumental music, and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff makes you feel at home, offering helpful suggestions for those unfamiliar with Nepali cuisine.
The menu is diverse, offering classic Nepali dishes alongside Indian-inspired options. We started with momos, steamed dumplings filled with spiced minced chicken, served with a tangy tomato achar. These were perfectly soft and juicy, bursting with flavors, and paired excellently with the dipping sauce, which had just the right amount of heat.
For the main course, we ordered chicken tikka masale, garlic naan , a traditional Nepali momo. Each component was fresh, balanced, and felt like a genuine taste of home-cooked Nepali food.
Definitely will come back soon ???
