I typically enjoy dining at Jack’s Bar and Grill, but my recent experience was disappointing due to the behavior of a staff member named Reed. From the moment we interacted, Reed came across as dismissive and uninterested in providing even basic customer service. When we asked questions about current services on the mountain, his responses were curt and laced with arrogance, as if helping us was an inconvenience.
Rather than creating a welcoming atmosphere, Reed’s attitude made us feel like we were a burden. His tone was unnecessarily sharp, and he showed little regard for basic courtesy. Everyone can have an off day, but consistent rudeness and a dismissive demeanor are unacceptable in any hospitality setting.
I hope management takes note of this and addresses it. Jack’s has always had potential for great service, but experiences like this detract significantly from the overall visit.
Nothing like a beer or s snack at Jacks Bar to rest before returning to the slopes.
Bar gets 10 stars, great employees and drinks!
Restaurant gets 0 stars, their breakfast used to be good but now it’s always cold or room temperature, they seem very disorganized and need a heat lamp to keep food warm while waiting for other food to be ready. Needs to be much better, they could use a few more cooks to keep things flowing.
Great place to sit and have lunch or just take in the scenery while having lunch or a drink. We had lunch here one day while skiing and had the loaded tots. Very delicious! Service was great even though they stay busy. I recommend the hot apple pie drink.
Water station down on a Saturday. Closest alternative was a walk thru a busy restaurant to wait in a long ass line. They CANNOT be dropping the ball like this on a Saturday, especially with ikon corporation/stockholder money and for the prices we pay for things.
See the details below from my husband, but I'd like to add that we had won FOUR tokens and were going to use 1 today and also buy a drink specifically so that we could tip. I went to grab waters and came back to this guy being very rude and dismissive to my husband (his general demeanor was that everyone was inconveniencing him for wanting to get a drink...at a bar) and when I saw what was happening, I tried to ask questions but all he said was a sarcastic "thanks for the tip" after we had paid $26 for subpar and insulting service.
Little Napoleon with the starter-kit mustache at the bar is a douche. We had some of the “First drink’s on us” tokens from the Copper booth at the Ikon stoke event earlier this year, and this guy made out like he never heard of them before, they didn’t accept them, and I was an idiot for asking about them. Rude, dismissive, and mediocre at bartending. 0 stars. Would not recommend.

Leesa was my server. We came to enjoy some lunch, drinks, and March Madness basketball. Immediately after we sat ourselves at a high-top, our server mandated “If you’re sitting here you need to order something”. I had been sitting at the table for less than a minute and planned on ordering both food and drinks, so this was an odd and somewhat rude initial server/customer interaction. Unfortunately this treatment continued, as later on she stated “You have to keep ordering food and drinks to sit here”. We had half a plate of nachos that we were still eating, in addition to drinks that weren’t empty.Once again, as the game we were watching was almost to half-time, she asked “do you plan on staying”, to which I said no because I was truly turned off and disappointed in the service and experience. I wanted to watch march madness for the school I attended for my birthday with my family. There were plenty of other fans who seemed to be doing the exact same thing. From what I could tell, the other servers and staff were extremely pleasant. I have never written a negative review in my life, but I felt this was necessary due to the incredibly poor service and treatment I received from Leesa at Jack’s.

It is really expensive, but what can you expect from a ski resort restaurant. Also, my cinnamon roll "may contain nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, soy"

Bar is dece, standard slope-side bar but they serve quick. The food court used to be the best food, but they did a great job turning that upside. Heard they failed inspection this year so they raised prices. That'd be fine with me but I found actual rocks in the potatoes with breakfast, see attached photos. I hope you enjoy a side of shale with your sandwich, its the best gravel on the mountain.Employees are kind and helpful, which is always nice.

Surprisingly the best minestrone soup I’ve ever had
Worst layout of a building ever! There are no trash cans in the restaurant, so everyone piles their trash on their trays. Also, the average price for a meal with a drink is 30 dollars per person.
