Drove in from Denver and stopped by Ollie's for a meal. Delicious! It's a great pub and was crowded even at 3:00 pm. I had the mushroom burger and subbed the Swiss for cheddar. The burger was perfectly cooked, the mushrooms and sauteed onions were plentiful and flavorful. It was a very big burger and the side fries were crispy and hot. The service was attentive without being intrusive. It's below street level.
Good place for a burger or sandwich. Pretty typical food. Wings, salads, burgers, sandwiches. Nothing amazing. The Colorado Cheesesteak was good. Good fries. The bacon Mac and cheese burger was really salty.
My ratings are based on comparisons to similar venues. Our food was mostly appetizers to share was tasty and generous portions. They have a large assortment of local craft beers and of course cocktails. Happy hour is 3-5. The place fills as time passes when the dinner crowd moves in. The interior is attractive with lots of wood. They have many tables for large groups. Parking wasn't a problem on the street and we didn't have to pay. They did charge 2% for using a credit...
