Giving it a five even though I’m sure prices are too high. We had the most wonderful experience. It was the last day they were open. I feared we’d be served the dregs of the kitchen. But no, the eggplant tower was fresh and amazing. The pizza was delicious (maybe a little too much cheese for my personal preference). I really like their sauce. Hence, the name.
Yet, the best part was the service. Pally is a terrific bar manager and guy! He was so attentive making sure the open door wasn’t causing a draft. He knows the 2 minutes or 2 bites rule which often makes or breaks the tip we leave. Pally is a tremendous mountain biker and offers a ton of knowledge and willing to share. The price of our meal was worth every cent bc of Pally.

Was bummed since we had a really good experience at Sauce on the Blue awhile back. Had the chicken Alfredo and it was so bland - the chicken really had no flavor, even after I added salt and grated Parmesan.
Service was fine, no complaints there. Definitely would not go back 😏

Perfect way to ending our day, chef Sal really knows what he’s doing and enjoys what he does. Si also took really good care of our table he was so professional and prompt the atmosphere is amazing . Highly recommended for a perfect night out. Make sure to stop at the bar before departing and say hi to paulie get one of his famous mint whisky mixers you’ll love it. Thanks guys cheers!

We had a great family dinner last night at Sauce. Reservations were easy to make for our group of 5 after a day of skiing. Our server Teresa was friendly and helpful. Her wine and meal suggestions were perfect. The family size Caesar salad was enough for 4. We appreciated the gluten free options available. The seafood pasta was wonderful.

Was hoping for a nice dinner out in Copper. I thought I remembered this place being good - but it turns out that was the prior restaurant that occupied this space. The pasta was *terrible*, the salad was just sad, the scallop app was overcooked and the artichoke app was lathered in breading, deep fried, and very, very greasy. Even the dessert was Stouffers frozen quality. Truly bad tasting food - especially for the money. And service was very slow as well. Next time we'll get in the car & head to Frisco or Breck if we want a nice meal.

The restaurant wasn’t busy when we came in & it was pretty early in the night (before the dinner rush) which made it surprising that some of our dinner came out cold. The menu taste/quality was on parr with big chains like Olive Garden which made it feel like you’re overpaying for the convenience of being at the village. The Cesar salad had very little flavor/dressing, so if you get that ask for extra dressing. The spaghetti sauce just tasted like canned tomatoes unseasoned, so if you have kids/picky eaters that may be a plus. Our server was attentive & nice as were the rest of the staff we interacted with.

I made reservation last night for a party of 7 and was glad that they had a round table to accommodate us. Two of us ordered the Brussels sprout appetizer to share and I thought it was one of the best I have had. So often I have ordered this at other restaurants and they had barely been roasted. I ordered the penne ala vodka with scallops and it was excellent. Another at out table ordered the penne ala vodka and said it was excellent and better than at her favorite restaurant back home. Her husband ordered the chicken marsala, also excellent. Our server, Koa, was excellent and took in stride all the requests and questions from my sister who is gluten intolerant and avoids dairy. I would not hesitant to return!
Highly recommend this place! I had made reservations for 8 because online wouldn't let me make reservations for the 9 that I needed and couldn't get an answer to my phone calls. We showed up, I told them we needed 1 more added to our table, and they obliged with no problem. They even apologized for us not being able to get through by phone. Great food with great service!

Our party of four had excellent food and service at Sauce on Copper. The trout and salmon dishes were delicious and our gluten-free friend raved about her pasta bolognese (and gluten-free menu in general). We loved the family-sized salad options. We will definitely be back.

We had a great first time experience and will definitely return. Our server was busy but quite attentive. The Linguine alla Pescatore with zucchini ribbons instead of pasta was fantastic. The spicy red sauce was delicious and the seafood was perfectly done. I'd recommend the Family size salad for two to share. Slopeside access is quite convenient.
