The food was absolutely outstanding and Andy our waiter was excellent. However, when we asked the girl that was refilling our water if the restaurant had a military discount her answer was so unbelievably inappropriate! She looked as if we had just insulted her and said “no, we don’t” abruptly. We’ve been to other restaurants before that are very polite when they say “no” but her response just made us feel so disrespected and uncomfortable. How sad that this restaurant...
Our server was new and still getting familiar with the menu and specials, but she was kind and attentive throughout. The food was great—we especially enjoyed the patio during happy hour. The pork rind appetizer and carrots were delicious, and while the pork belly was a bit chewy, it was still packed with flavor. Overall, a solid spot with a relaxed vibe and tasty bites.
Vegetarians will not be disappointed! The cauliflower steak entree had so much flavor that I couldn’t pick what would be my favorite! Amy was our waitress and very attentive and personable. She let me know the spice level of the sauce so I could put it on the side to control the level I wanted. My mom had the salmon and loved it. Becky was the hostess and also very personable and checked in even after we were seated and eating. There was also a very nice wine selection....
