Great burger
I want to start by saying our food was delicious.. unfortunately.. the service wasn't. Right when my family and I walked in we were not greeted by literally anyone. An older gentleman eventually came.. he appeared to be the manager? Anyway he was very stiff.. not rude but not inviting. We had mentioned possibly sitting outside and he stopped walking us, turned to us and said how it's too busy! We said ok no worries.. We were seated and a server never came.. eventually the very kind bartender took it upon himself to try to serve us.. he and the food are the only reason I'm leaving 3 stars.. we felt ignored by the manager and the actual servers. Luckily, the bartender really saved the day along with another very kind lady bringing out our food to us. We noticed 2 other families come in, seat themselves, wait for service, and leave when it never came. So be cautious if you decide to go..
New to town so we followed reviews and checked out the menu beforehand. Our waitress, Laurie/Lori was great and we enjoyed our appetizers but the entrees were horrible. The fish appeared to come from a box which I can deal with but my partners main was inedible. Based on our experience, I do not recommend the deconstructed beef Wellington. We asked the waitress if it really was beef, it was that bad. It got left behind on the plate and the two of us left $170 poorer but thankfully we filled up on the apps. Hopefully it was just an off night.
It was a beautiful day before a possible snowstorm in Frisco. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant dining experience with everything tasting of the highest quality. The service was exceptional. The decor was warm and inviting, with every staff member engaging in not a service but a craft of taking care of your needs as a friend to feed your experience.
The rooftop is the best view in Frisco. Amber was amazing! Excellent service!
The food was very good. Service was good as well, but the hostess was a little stiff. My gripe is that we ordered a piece of key lime pie to go and it was on our bill for $11.50. It was a small container, a yellow flag. We got home and it was a the smallest slice of pie I have ever seen in a restaurant, smothered in whipped cream. Sorry, but I measured it: 4” long, under 2” wide, and 1 1/2” tall. Tasted fine but way overpriced.
Tofu rice bowl and fries were very good! Glad they have several real vegan options with tofu.
The food and service here is always excellent :) love their salads & veggie wrap.
Generous portions. Friendly service. Reasonably priced.
Was not sure what to expect after seeing a few negative reviews before we stopped in 2 weeks ago. Walked in to find no one to greet us, empty host stand, place looked closed in the afternoon.
Went around to seat ourselves at the bar. Noticed the bartender juggling a few guys at the bar and 2 tables by himself.
Ordered the French Onion Soup, House Salad with Bleu cheese dressing and the Mussels with fries.
Soup was surprisingly good, salad was great and Mussels were perfect with the spicy flavorful tomato broth, even the fries with aoili was done right. The bartender was trying his best being a 1 man show, maybe staffing issues.
Overall not a bad experience, will have to try it out again sometime.

This place looked alright. However, the service was not up to par. But, I don’t want to criticize this place too much. It seemed like our table was situated in the bartender’s section. We were often forgotten about. It took a long time to order our food, and it took a long time getting it. Ultimately, two of my party members didn’t get their food for a while, and our waiter didn’t seem to notice until me and my other friend were almost done with our food. The food was not bad, but the service could’ve been better. My Dr. Pepper tasted watered down, but the food we did get was fine. The best part was the clam chowder, hands down. There was a clear lack of communication on the staff.

Wow. I couldn't imagine better food. Or better service. Look at this Uptown Burger - arugula, roasted tomatoes, carmelized onions, yum. The hostess won us over - her name was Ish - we were walking through town, popping our heads into different restaurants to find the perfect place to eat. She said she was sure it was The Uptown. We told her we had a few more places to check out but we'd be back. She was so nice and playful that after we walked the rest of Main, we came back based solely on Ish's personality. Laurie was our waitress, and she was lovely and charming and super on top of everything. Drinks always full, super accommodating. Simply a 5-star lunch.
