I want to start by saying our food was delicious.. unfortunately.. the service wasn't. Right when my family and I walked in we were not greeted by literally anyone. An older gentleman eventually came.. he appeared to be the manager? Anyway he was very stiff.. not rude but not inviting. We had mentioned possibly sitting outside and he stopped walking us, turned to us and said how it's too busy! We said ok no worries.. We were seated and a server never came.. eventually...
It was a beautiful day before a possible snowstorm in Frisco. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant dining experience with everything tasting of the highest quality. The service was exceptional. The decor was warm and inviting, with every staff member engaging in not a service but a craft of taking care of your needs as a friend to feed your experience.
The food was very good. Service was good as well, but the hostess was a little stiff. My gripe is that we ordered a piece of key lime pie to go and it was on our bill for $11.50. It was a small container, a yellow flag. We got home and it was a the smallest slice of pie I have ever seen in a restaurant, smothered in whipped cream. Sorry, but I measured it: 4” long, under 2” wide, and 1 1/2” tall. Tasted fine but way overpriced.
