Went deer hunting in the Bookcliffs north of Fruita and went into town to grab some supplies and found the Strayhorn. The food was good and the service was good as well. I went for dinner one night and had Katie the bartender wait on us and she was awesome. I then had to return for breakfast on our way out of town and had Anastasia wait on us and the breakfast was awesome as well. Traveling through and am SO GLAD we stopped! Our food was cooked to perfection, plenty of it, at a reasonable price!! The atmosphere is clean, welcoming and family friendly. Ask for Ladonna, she will treat you like royalty!!! Wish we lived closer, we would definitely become a regular here! ❤️
It's been awhile since we had lunch here, we are usually here for a great steak dinner. The lunch Burger special with fries and drink for $10. can't be beat. As always the wonderful staff and food, keep us coming back to this local favorite. Next time I'm going to order a strawberry vodka lemonade.
