I travel for work and currently find myself staying in Fruita until my next trip in a couple weeks. I’ve been here for a few months, and Taco Bell has been one of the few places I attend regularly for lunch or dinner. The daytime staff is amazing and very kind. I really enjoy getting lunch. But dinner is an ordeal. They make my food great, but the attitude and eye rolls in that place once night shift comes in is INSANE. The night shift acts like they hate their existence and everyone else’s. I thought the manager might be nicer, but he was just as miserable. I’ve always come in with a smile and have been very kind, but from now on I won’t so much as say hi when I walk in to pick up my food. If it’s going to be a burden to be a customer come afternoon, I’ll make it everyone’s problem.

Usually pretty good but tonight we ordered the chicken nuggets and got these little tiny balls that had obviously been sitting in a warmer a long while- all discolored and dark. Didn't get the correct sauces and didn't get the extra sauces we paid for. The kid who took the order was very polite though.

Continuously gets our order wrong, always puts things on there that we take off or vice versa. The real kicker is when they ask at the speaker “just to confirm, you don’t want ANY 3 cheese blend on the inside or the outside?”, we say correct, and it’s still on there…after 4 times of this happening we asked a manager for a refund on just the burritos, he audibly sighed and rolled his eyes.

The food was delicious and prepared quickly. The team member taking my order even listened to my story of visiting the original Taco Bell the week before. And how I worked and enjoyed my time when I worked at Taco Bell 30 years ago. It was an all-around great experience.

This is now the third time I’ve gotten inedible food at this location. You would think it would be easy to make quesadillas and at least melt the cheese. Nope, every quesadilla was cold with unmelted cheese and so much sauce it made the tortilla soggy. Absolutely disgusting. I usually give the workers the benefit of the doubt but sending out cold food just shows the lack of care/common sense.
