Found this place on yelp and glad we did. We were seated immediately and given water and menus. Chips and salsa showed up immediately and did not disappoint, both authentic.I ordered the pork caritas and they were soft and juicy with an amazing flour in a corn tortilla with rice,beans,guacamole and hot salsa. We also ordered the pork tamale and toco. Neither disappointed. I hosts Iris, side with my wife in terms of the large margarita. If you driving go with the small because the large was huge!Iris gave great service and was a joy to talk tooParking was ample but this is not a big place so i am sure it gets busy. We were they around 11:30am.Highly recommend! Authentic mexican food!

As I've posted and reviewed previously, it is known that I Love Authentic Mexican food. This place is right up there with my most favorite of the mall on the western slope. A friend and I stopped by here for an early lunch. We both ordered carne asada plates. The steak was cooked perfectly, just the way I had ordered it. The beans and rice were delicious and cooked perfectly. This place is true authentic Mexican food. Our server was not only polite and very friendly, but beautiful as well.Thank you Agavero's for the fast and friendly service, amazing food, and keeping with tradition the culture and food of Mexico.

Everything I've had here has been good. Portions are large. The service is great. It's a little tight inside but booths are high and offer some privacy. I have to say it's our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Drinks are small and expensive.

Okay so the food was good, our waitress was great, however there were some rude rude people eating very close to us and very obnoxious.And.... I got food poisoning ?♀️?♀️Minus being very sick all day and missing a Christmas party. The food tasted good ??♀️

Just average food with nothing special. Prices are a little high and seating is crowded.
Ground beef in the enchiladas was nasty. The rice was a sticky rice like you would see at an asian restaurant. Overall the food is lacking flavor. The waitress had on wayyyyy too much perfume. Almost nauseating.

I wouldn't known what "authentic" Mexican food is. I do know that the food here at Agaveros is good. I'm hooked on the fried burrito and the taquitos. It is always fresh and for the times the price is good.Service is always fast and friendly. Plates come out fast and even though there's many choices on the menu, it is not overwhelming. Margheritas and cold beer ad to the ambience.I heard good things about Agaveros before we went. Don't take my word, try it for yourself!

I’ve contemplated this review all night, the food was great however we did have a very off experience.. I asked for a refill on my water and received the same glass back but with tequila. I am pregnant and did accidentally swallow some, I was so thirsty and just drank to quick, thankfully just a small amount was swallowed. Sounds like one employee was making pre mixed drinks and walked away? another walked up grabbed the glass of pre measured tequila and gave it to me as my water. I understand a mistake, however what I can’t understand is why someone would grab a random glass of liquid that they didn’t pour nor see poured and give it to a customer. It definitely makes me wonder what else goes on in this restaurant that is unseen. I didn’t finish my meal, I felt sick thinking of the possible consequences of that sip. I also now feel sick thinking of any other person who could’ve been in my position, a recovering alcoholic, a child, someone with health concerns. This is a mistake that should have never happened.
