I stopped for breakfast. I got a bowl of menudo. It was really good, came with all the fixings and a flour tortilla. Homemade flour tortillas, I ordered a buttered one after my meal.
What more do you need/want from a bar right on the border of CO & NM?! Green chile, cold drinks, motorcycles, and huge space to come in and relax. Had a great time chatting it up with the bosses at the long and roomy counter. All down to earth and welcoming. Def have to try the “Mexican Holiday” shot!
Great watering hole right on the border. You have to get off the highway a short distance to find it, but well worth it. Friendly locals and cold beer makes for a nice respite on a long trip.
