Cozy restaurant with great food. The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the elk burger, the caprese salad and the salmon.

The food was more expensive than it was worth. I had the Dr. Pepper chicken which was served open faced which wasn't stated on the menu. $16.00 was way too expensive for the quality of the sandwich. It should state that it's open faced on the menu.

Celebrated my daughter's 13th bday here yesterday. It was amazing. Our waitress Felicia was attentive, friendly, and had great taste- recommending many things that ended up being spectacular. She went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special, and honestly, was one of the best servers we've ever had in any reataurant. The guava lemonade was a much needed cool-down from the 100+ degree temps outside, the Achiote ckn tacos were out of this world, and the crispy Brussels were to die for. The smoked brisket was dry and lacked flavor, but the salsa collection made up for it. We ended night with flourless choc cake and salted caramel ice cream to celebrate, and she packaged up what we didn't finish to enjoy later. Her attention to detail was spot on. We walked around the restaurant/hotel grounds, played yard games, sat in rocking chairs as the sunset lit up the Palisade mountain, and went back to our Yurt. Truly a wonderful experience and we'd go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Felicia and Paradox Grill for giving us a very special night. We appreciate you!

This was the only option. I wouldn't call it bad but it wasn't amazing. The tacos were bland. The burger my kid got was good. The elk sausage soup was good.

Stayed 2 nights and instead of walking from our Casita to this place we drove the hour to Grand Junction. Was worth the drive for another taco place.

Our sever was awesome. The food wasn't great. We were attacked by a spider. Some vacuuming of the light fixtures and corners is in order.

Parking: The parking is a bit of a walk from the grille due to the fact that it is inside a resort but the walk is pleasant.

Very impressed with the dining experience I received at the Paradox Restaurant within the Gatway Canyon Resort. I struggle with autoimmune disorders which have made me break out in hives when I have seed oils. I shared this with my server, who then looped in the head chef. The chef came out to my table to discuss and work through his options. He made something special for me for dinner and breakfast. By lunch time, they had gone to the store to buy me Ghee to cook with for the balance of our stay.

I always feel a little guilty and uncomfortable at restaurants, always having to explain my intolerances and specifications. The way this chef and server approached my needs was the best treatment ive ever received….this includes fine dining in Denver, neighboring mountain towns, California, abroad, and more.

Great job to all the service staff involved.

The place is cute, staff are friendly, but the food was mediocre. The prices were too high for the caliber of food, but less than I expected from a place like this. I think they need to charge a little more and actually serve decent food... as it is, we have no reason to go back.

So, this is the ONLY restaurant around for 25+ miles at a high end resort. Very few vegetarian options. Soup and salad. And they gave me the wrong soup, and I only saw one soup on the menu. No lunch specials?! You gotta be kidding me. Keep driving this is not a destination.
