Stopped for a quick lunch today. Was told that they had delicious soups. Only 2 to pick from ☹️.After waiting a half an hour for our sandwiches, we were told they were having problems with the grill. Ordered chicken piccata which took another half hour. When we received it, the $30 order of piccata had a small amount of very thin, tasteless chicken and less than a cup of pasta. There was a generous amount of sauce, but nothing to put it on. Very disappointed in their quality of food. How can you put piccata on the menu and not know how to cook it!😖 Never again!

It’s really disheartening to write a bad review as I never do. We are natives and come to the hills constantly decided to have a little weekend here and stop in for a bite. The food looked great on all other reviews so thought it would be nice. It’s a small place not much seating there were two there tables that had paid and it was just us. Sat there for 15 min not a hi or I’ll be with you just straight ignored. Another couple came in and was seated and given water. We decided to wait a few more minutes and it became clear that all the other patrons were locals and were just talking to the staff like we didn’t exist. Sad because we are great customers instead we left came to the local saloon and greeted instantaneously that just want us over I would not recommend the Rose restaurant.

First time ever coming here and had a seat waiting 15 minutes and couldn’t even get waters to start. 5 minutes later a Caucasian couple had a seat and got serviced before me. Was it cause I’m Mexican? I was only the second table seated. Who knows never going back I got up and left.

We had a great burger and a tasty wedge salad. Also ordered a beet and berry salad, but we got stiffed on the goat cheese. First there wasn’t any and then after inquiring about it a mouse sized portion was brought to the table.

Best Rueben to date…and that’s with my requested “no cheese”
The Mrs swooned over the berries, beets and greens….gotta admit, very tasty.
Our server Kat with a “K” performed with deft elegance.
We missed the live music so we’ll be back.

I just wanted to take the time and give this establishment a praise! We visited later in the shift, near closing, but still got served promptly, and happily. Our food/drinks were the best we had on our vacation, no comparison. I encourage anyone/everyone to get the hangar steak. You won’t regret it! The service, food, decor, and atmosphere are enough for 5 stars. All that being said, these things make a restaurant work, but the staff/owner is what makes this restaurant a special experience. You can really feel the joy and passion of everyone you encounter. Something truly special and rare. We came in for a meal, and left with very fond and cherished memories. As they say, “Gold is where you find it” Thank You 511, until next time!

Very disappointed 😞 Hoping for some good mac n cheese but no not so much very runny and not cooked log enough. Sliders are also just grilled cheese. Waitress was very nice and cute place though.

We don't get there often enough, but the food is great. Had dinner there friday night and got to try the prime rib. Excellent! Can't wait to get it again.

Bruschetta was delicious, with more roasted tomatoes and mushrooms than we could fit on the toasts. ($2 for additional toasts did the trick. Next time, I’d add the extra to their yummy Mac n cheese.) This time we got the pork green chili ‘add on’ and mixed it in the mac n cheese—very yummy!

Yesterday I ate here with my family for lunch. I brought my husband and my son and daughter. They gave everyone a glass wine cup to drink out of. I asked the waitress for a different cup for my son because it was not appropriate for him and was told that they reserve plastic cups for smaller children, because of this it ruined my lunch experience as I had to sit and constantly worry about my son, breaking a wine class and possibly hurting himself. It was not OK for the Waitress to make a judgment on my behalf as his mother that he was old enough to have a wine glass to drink from. I shouldn’t have to announce that my child has a disability in order for him to get appropriate glassware to drink from. Nor did I need the judgment of a waitress saying he was too old for a plastic cup. I will not be returning to this establishment because of this treatment. Otherwise the restaurant environment is very nice and well decorated and the food was OK. I hope that in the future, you will take a mother’s request to consideration without passing judgment.

This place is great. The decor is unique without being tacky. The photos are stunning and the artist who takes them is local. They also do love music but we weren't there for that. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. Very glad we came in on our stop in Georgetown. The food poc is the BBQ platter.
