We went in for our 3rd and final visit and ended up walking out today.Due to burn out and lack of preparation, half of the breakfast items on the menu were crossed out with magic marker and all the prices were crossed out and newer heavily inflated prices were written in with ink pen. This is upsetting for the customer that comes in looking for standard menu offerings. The are always short on staff which is not uncommon for mountain businesses but they don't seem to attempt to make it better. I am really upset because I wanted this place to make it but with their current lack of management we may see this establishment join the list of other failing mountain businesses.

Holy moly, came in here and not only enjoyed the laidback atmosphere & the comedy from the staff, but also so enjoyed the food. We ordered the chicken sandwich or what the staff shouted from the kitchen “the sexy”. And it was that! Delicious and impressive. The people that work here truly care about the food and the customer. We had the best time!!

Cute location in an old house, but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had T-Bone Steak And Eggs, which we ordered medium rare. We received a well done, tough steak that was over seasoned with a very salty BBQ spice, mushy tater tots and eggs. We also had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was ok but nothing special. You are better off going somewhere else.

A pretty waitress—Autumn, originally from Louisiana—told me in a previous chance encounter that the food here was New Orleans Good, which I found hard to believe. In fact, it is. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it did—much to my dismay—ruin my appreciation of any chicken sandwiches I may order elsewhere in the future. It was huge, delicious, and complimented by seasoned fries. I doubt it could ever be topped by a better one. I suggest you check before planning a meal—right now dinner isn’t served—because the open schedule is sporadic. But when you do walk in—enjoy.

The chicken sandwich was delicious. Period. A Jurassic version of a chicken sandwich of your dreams especially after a dizzy hike up Bierstadt. The ambiance had this cute-grandma mountain town Victorian home feel, so you already know the fried chicken is going to be solid. Now what is knocking off the 5th star is the fact we waited for our food for 40 minutes, with tables who sat before us being served first with the same items. Now was being tired and hangry amplifying the wait? Yes. But is 40 minutes a long time to cook food for a menu that is %85 fried? Also yes-- hence the 4/5 stars. Will still be back because that chicken sandwich was a godzilla of deliciousness. But fair warning, you might have to wait.

While pricy ($70 with tip for 3 adults) we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The staff is SO friendly and personable! Georgetown is a historic town and we were happy to stop, have breakfast and see the sights.

Excellent service, and friendly comfortable atmosphere. The food was amazing and totally worth the experience! Ask for recommendations on what to order on the menu, they won't steer you wrong.

Loved it. Nice waitress, great food...nice atmosphere. Eat here after a train ride. Got chicken fried chicken with egg and gravy. Yummy. Saved money when waitress suggested my son and I split that meal because it was alot of food and she never seen anyone finish it. She was right! Alot, we were both full for only 22$. One of our best meals all week here and cheapest. We are at a " fancy" restaurant in Rocky mountain state park for 100$ and got alot less leaving hungry. So good restaurant isn't always " high end"...

4.5/5 for a small mountain town place! I was sad to see they didn’t have their smothered chkn fried biscuit/sandwich but no worries! I was also excited about the potatoes on their menu BUT they told me ahead of time and asked f it was okay that they were doing tater tots - again fine! They were DELISH and whatever that chipotle sauce was amazing! Light on choices for beverages that go beyond the typical sodas and coffee, which is typical due to location/business! 10/10 will be back sometime! Staff was friendly, environment was chill & location is easy stop in GT

The food was bomb, the service was excellent and the owners are awesome! The fried chicken sandwich is A fried chicken. The pulled pork was delicious! Tots needed no ranch.

Stopped by this local mom and pop shop after taking the train ride through Georgetown. We were greeted and served by super friendly staff. The food was amazing, we tried the fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and BLT. They made their own BBQ sauce for the pork and their own spice blend on the chicken and the tater tots, which they are very proud of (and rightly so!). Definitely worth stopping by

Was out for a ride on the two wheeler last weekend and stopped in for lunch. Bellied up and ordered a Coke (in a can). I also ordered a Burger and Tots. Everything came out in a timely manner and was good. The menu was out of a few items, but my Burger was good.

Small town/hometown cooking that reminded me so much of my native rural Kansas roots. The service was amazing too. I asked for some scrambled eggs to be added to my smothered chicken biscuit and they totally hooked me up! Excellent prices, cozy atmosphere, and great people running the place. I’ll be stopping by this hidden gem after all my high altitude hikes to refuel.

If I could give A&K's place more than 5 stars, ai would. This little place has set a new standard for me. From the outside it looks like any other little family place. A dear friend and I wanted to share a meal before he headed back out of state. We chose this place almost at random, but we're so incredibly pleased with the experience. The staff was very kind. The meals were incredible portions, and very, very good. They came with slightly spicy, seasoned potatoes. We both found ourselves speaking nostalgically of our chosen meals, he the Philly steak and me the pulled pork. Both of us had exclaimed about how they were the best we had ever had. We also found ourselves slowing down towards the end of our sandwiches and trying to savor and prolong the experience. As we share the same initials as A&K, we've decided that this is our place, as well. We're going to meet here for breakfast, next time we're in town.
