You order and pay at the bar. My poor dad tipped 20% at the POS, but what the blazes for? You have to pick up your own food, serve yourself water and retrieve your own cutlery. Tipping culture in the US has gotten out of control since I left 10 years ago.Food was average. We didn’t bother bussing our table. I mean, we tipped 20%.

When asked, my wife said “ This is the worst street taco I’ve ever had” Is a shame because the Guanella Pass Brewery is really good. You have to order at the bar in the cantina… the line was 8 deep, but the brewery next door was quick and efficient.

Imagine the smallest plate of $20 nachos (including $7 extra for fajita chicken). Now cut that in half. That what we were served, along with a quesadilla (pretty ok, kinda soggy) and fries that were still white. All while listening to, like, loud new wave electronica. The building was cool, our server was nice, and the salsa was good, but the food was overpriced and lacking. Can’t recommend.

As Georgetown frequent visitors we have seen MANY restaurants come and go. If the owners don't make some changes this one will not last long. The inside of the cantina was nice; however this is where all my niceties stop. The bar tender was not that friendly and the "service" was self serve. I think self serve would be a good idea for those that were next door at the brewery that wanted a bite but if you are inside the actual restaurant a server is defiantly needed. If I wanted to serve myself I would go to a fast food or semi-fast food place. The prices here reflect that of a moderately to highly priced sit down restaurant. Need water? Go to the water station. Need silverware, go get it yourself. In fact we needed forks and the container that held them was empty. When we asked to get some forks we were directed to another location which was also empty so we received plastic forks. After seeing where the "clean" forks were supposed to be stored I am very glad they were out because the container was disgusting. Draft beers were $7 each, which I find very pricey even in this economy. The food prices were even worse for the amount of money they cost. One person ordered the chimichanga and it was clearly a premade one they just put in the fryer. Another ordered rice and beans and the rice was instant rice and gummy in texture. We had the nachos with the $7 added fajita beef and several of the very few pieces were so fatty we couldn't eat them. Don't get the chips and queso, you're going to spend $8 and get maybe 3 oz of of queso and if you want salsa you pay $1 for each 1oz condiment sized container. We went to this place last summer when it opened and really liked it. I asked the bartender if there had been changes and she said yes the menu had changed. All in all, I do not recommend eating here unless you want to pay a lot for a little.

Seems like up until a few months ago this was more of a full-service restaurant? The photos on google are very misleading - full plates of great looking food with sides and fixings… Now it’s way overpriced for extremely mediocre food. Do not recommend.Example: it’s $15 for a burrito that seemed like someone scraped the caked edges of a can of refried beans and found some day-or-two old rice laying around then rolled it room-temp into a tortilla and slapped that puppy on a plate. Not a vegetable to be found in the restaurant. Also it’s self-serve, more or less, but the point of sale offers you 25% or 30% as the default tip options. Lolll

Price of food is outrageous, portion sizes are small, food is bland and very average. No costumer service, and honestly a weird/uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, waste of time and money. Eat somewhere else.

Super expensive. You are pressured to tip as you yourself order at the bar, then you get a buzzer and go to the kitchen to get your meal. Yup. You go to the kitchen to get it. After being asked for a 20%, 25%, or 30 % tip as you order at the counter. Those are you three tipping options unless you want to push a ton of buttons to awkwardly find to $2.00 tip or no tip option. Fine if it was $8.00 and good but tiny, no cheese, no sauce, and 99% rice and tortillia. And NO SERVICE! That miserable excuse for a burrito and a beer cost me $45 total. And i was still starving after- stopped at Safeway to get a sandwich on the way home. I was robbed at the place. Put a whole negative taste in my mouth for Georgetown. (The beer was very good though).

Great atmosphere! Unique "service " you order at the bar. Pick up your own food in the back when a buzzer goes off. Need to get your own silverware utensils and water. All fine, but you pay upfront, and the tip options start at %20 and go up. Not sure what I was tipping for??There are NO vegetarian options, so I ordered a burrito with no meat. I asked if I could add guacamole, and the bartender said it comes with it. The burrito was $13 and was the absolute worst burrito I have eaten. And the worst food value I have seen in awhile. It had absolutely no flavor, and it was tiny. I did not finish it. I would not eat here again. The cocktails were ok but were also$13. One of them was in about a 10oz. Glass and was 3/4" shy of full, so more ice was added. It just seemed casually made for a $13 cocktail from a cantinaVegetarian options: None

Unexpectedly good tacos. Super tender steak used in the barbacoa tacos with a nice seasoning and char. The burgers, served in a soft and buttery bun and crispy fries. All the food was fresh. As expected, it’s comes at a tourist and remote area price but the food was good.Remember to order at the bar and pick up your food by the kitchen. It can get packed, so be patient.

Terrible concept. No clear place to order when bar is full. Self service, yet you are expected to tip.. Why not just have a waitress waiting tables? I liked the small menu. Tacos were good. Green chili was like water. Chicken sandwich bread fell apart instantly.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. No kids menu

Worst nachos I’ve ever had in my life. The chips were not fresh fried as advertised. They were soggy and chewy. The whole thing was covered in thick toothpaste consistently cheese that was terrible. Honestly nothing tasted fresh. Seemed like it had been sitting out for hours before we ordered it. Even the guacamole didn’t taste good and definitely wasn’t fresh.

Me and my grandma walk in 20 minutes before closing and they happily seated us and let us order. We ordered a basic Chicken Burrito and go it to go because we wanted to get to our hotel but she reassured many times that we could stay and eat in store. Our food was ready in maybe 10 minutes and was hot and fresh when we got home. The restaurant was clean and nice.

I visited this restaurant today and I must say, I was disappointed with my experience. While the atmosphere were pleasant, I found the portion size to be too small for the price. Additionally, while the taste of the meal was okay, I didn't feel that the second layer of tortilla was necessary. While I appreciate the effort put into the meal, I don't believe I'll be returning any time soon.I paid for this plate $13-14 without tip.

Georgetown is such a charming town that we visited. We always like to try smaller restaurants, and we were not disappointed. They have a limited menu due to the season, but we found what we usually like to eat.I had a steak quesadilla and my wife had street tacos. My Mommy (mother in law) had beef tacos. We all enjoyed our meals. They were excellent.Service was great (I wish I took down our server's name). The restaurant, itself, was nicely done in a beautifully renovated style. It's a casual restaurant.
