Bodega Taco & Margarita Bar

We had a delicious meal with Margaritas the other night. Raphael was very courteous and welcoming.
I had Chicken Mole Tacos that were extremely savory. Each bite revealed that the chef knew what he was doing, and what he wanted this dish to taste like.
We met Gabi, the manager and she was delightful. We had watched her graciously deal with some obnoxious customers at the next table and we were astounded at her calm, helpful, caring attitude with folks we could see were purposely acting very unpleasantly.
We chatted with Gabi afterward and found her charming and gracious.
She and Rapheal are one of the reasons we continue to go back.
Savory, well planned and prepared food and a welcoming, comfortable staff are exactly what we always find at Bodega. I would expect this type of service at a big, exclusive, fancy restaurant. It is a rare treat to find such a professional atmosphere in a smaller, economical restaurant in Glendale.
Congratulations and Thank you Gabi and Raphael. I am the one who chooses Bodega Taco now; even though my lady brought me here initially.

Their seasonal displays are fun.

The food was really good and service was great for a take out order. The price is a bit high but when you are staying so close its almost worth it. I got street corn, queso dip, and birria tacos. The chips are made in restaurant or look to be so and are not overly salty. Margs are really good and can get to go...Definitely check it out if your staying next door.

✨ Taco dreams came true that night 🌮💫
Stopped by for my first visit and ordered 3 carnitas tacos—chef’s kiss. I asked if they could throw a little mango on top for a sweet twist, and boom 💥 they nailed it. Flavor explosion.

Shoutout to Gabrielle, my server, who was an absolute gem 💎 Attentive, kind, and totally cool with my custom request. She made me feel so welcome, like I’d been coming there for years.

I went for lunch. The design of this restaurant and the atmosphere at Bodega is horrible. It is dark - like seriously dark inside. Think cave here. It is long and narrow and CRAMPED.

Service was terse. Not rude but not at all welcoming. The hostess/greeter didn’t offer an outside table. Maybe the server was unhappy that I came alone and not as part of a group? Also, once I ordered it far too long for food to arrive. I was never asked if I wanted anything to drink or whether I wanted chips and salsa, so I stuck with water and waited hungry for my food to arrive.

I ordered 3 tacos - fish, shredded beef, and mole. The wrong order was delivered but quickly replaced with the correct one.

The food was AMAZING. Delicious doesn’t begin to describe it.

My wife and I decided on Bodega Taco & Margarita Bar for lunch upon arriving at the hotel nearby. I ordered 2 of their specialty tacos which were great. I also ordered the fresh made, table side guacamole, it was absolutely fantastic! I had 2 of their specialty margaritas as well which were very good. My wife, who is a bit fussing in her eating ended up getting something off menu that our incredible waitress/bartender had specifically made for her. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and patient. Thank you.

Great folks. Very friendly and inviting. I had the chicken tacos with chips and salsa. The tacos were great. Had to pay for the chips and salsa but they were with it. And the Modelo, that doesn’t need a comment.

Food was decent place was really nice great environment. The service on the other hand felt like there was preference on people coming in and how fast service is asked for a refill didn’t receive until we were done eating and because I had to ask for it asked for the bill 3 times seen a table come and go while still waiting for the bill. Nice place but needs better service.
