Bodega Taco & Margarita Bar

Went in 8pm on a Friday and had a very disappointing meal. Food didn’t taste fresh and made both me and my wife a little sick a couple hours later. Margaritas and service were good though.

Some reviews mention greasy food, and I’m here to double down on that. Feels like a healthy squirt of oil was the final garnish on everything I ate. I tried three different tacos and each left something to be desired. Even with the happy hour discounts, the bill was a bit steep for the quality of food I received. Drinks were just fine, not enough to return for.

The food was expensive and very greasy. Everything seemed to be dipped in oil before serving. We had the street corn, carnitas, fish, and veggie tacos.

The taco bar Denver desperately needed!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. We drove across town to eat here because of the great reviews but I could not even eat my food got sick after I left.

Why yall charging $2 for salsa or sauce when everyother taco place gives it for free. Plus its over priced to begin with $5 a taco i mean the sauce should be free. Plus I got attitude from the workers cause they was surprised im asking for sause for my damn tacos. Who eats there tacos dry i mean really.

I dined on a slow Saturday afternoon. A party of three was seated near me while I sat alone. The party was given free food and better service than I was despite me spending more on my food than they did. Plus, for the price, I expected food to be more than a half step above Chipotle. The hibiscus margarita was OK. The environment is very much LED lights with the greenery background, matching the overall style-over-substance approach. Very much Instagram and TikTok attention seeking.

I hope catering to that draft beer and water party was worth losing a customer.
