Great service and food! Nice spot for quick oysters or an upscale date night. Love this place!

Rooftop seating provides a great view, and minus an oyster loving yellow jacket the meal was amazing. Great food, happy hour cocktails and raw bar, plus live music.

We sat in the outside covered area and the noise level was minimal , making it an excellent choice for a meal & conversation.

Sat on the roof top patio, weather was just right so it was super enjoyable. Had grilled oysters, crab cake and scallops. All the food was excellent.

Had my Birthday dinner at Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar in Glendale. We have been there a few times for other celebrations. Great place to have a gathering with family or friends. I ordered oysters for an appetizer then had scallops for my main menu. I wiped my plates clean including a yummy pineapple dessert. Our waitress was amazing and took very good care of us.

Alex our server was fantastic, took care of our party very well. Food delish, service was great.

Wonderful entrees, but super overpriced. The chef is amazing. We went on a Monday (Happy Hour all evening) which is really the best option considering the prices. The apps were great as well as the entrees. Just the right portion size on entrees, so you don't feel stuffed and gross. I rarely order dessert, but we had the Gelato and the chocolate cake. Great for special occasions! I am not a fish lover but my husband and son are. I really only like the fish at Jax because the seafood is so fresh.

I actually really love this restaurant and their Monday happy hour used to be stellar but it seems like they cut their serving sizes so it’s not as good of a deal. It’s really good quality if you can afford it though.

So disappointing! We have been to Jax in Glendale before and it was always good. We booked a table for six for our daughter's birthday. It did not go well. Two of the six drinks ordered were made incorrectly: a margarita instead of a paloma and a tequila and soda instead of a gin and tonic. ?? The explanation for what went wrong was sketchy. Salmon ordered medium (as suggested) came out nearly raw and had to be re-done - leaving one of our party waiting while the rest ate. The crab cacio e pepe was tasteless with watery "sauce." The hushpuppies were hard and dry, and the "smoked bacon" cornbread lacked bacon (or any indication on the menu how bacon was included/involved). The crushed pineapple tart was sickly sweet. The lobster/shrimp rolls, crab cake, BLT salad, mussels, and key lime tarts were all fine, but nothing to write home about. The only real winner we ordered was a tray of oysters. On our way out, my husband asked to speak to the manager about the problems with the drinks, salmon, and crab pasta. The manager apologized but offered only his name "to make sure our experience will be great" (or something to that effect) when we return. No offer to comp even part of this expensive meal. We won't be going back.

We sat at the bar and received almost no service. We asked for everything we needed and had to wait for that too. Empty water, empty wine. There were 4 bartenders!

We sat on the rooftop patio on a Friday night, where they have live music from 6 to 8. It was really great! They had the shades down so the sun was not coming in much. Had good food - crab cheese wonton dip, pan seared halibut, and blue crab cacio e pepe.

Jax in Glendale has been a favorite for a long time. But a change in management has not been a good change, Maybe one or two of the old staff are present and the atmosphere seemed strained. In most restaurants I expect a visit from the manager, but not now. Hope they can get back to good.
