Went there two weeks ago and got extremely disappointed. We had to beg our server to pay attention! She was absent most of the time, didn't care to refill water, didn't care to ask if we wanted more food or drinks - we ordered appetizers and kept the menus. She did not want to be there! We could have easily doubled our bill but that attitude was ridiculous. I worked in service for years and would have never treat my guests with such disrespect. Will not be back. Oysters were good though.

This location has been my husbands and I's favorite spot. We went to happy hour here tonight and had the pleasure of having Brian as our server. He did an amazing job, was very attentive and elevated the experience. We will most definitely be asking for him to be our server going forward! Great oysters.

Disappointed in the food quality. Jax used to be a go to spot but just not the same quality for what you pay for. Plus we came for a b-day celebration and they changed us $10 for two little nickel sized birthday chocolates, which was ridiculous.

The Tuna was in a bowl of broth, tofu and other green items. We are used to a Tuna Steak. The Scallops were not done, t hash was good, the King Cake Beignets were good but no one warned us of t baby inside, NOLA does not include babies in Beignets. My husband was ill that night after t Tuna Dish. Be careful what you order and ask questions. Order something that is a familiar dish. The Oysters were ok, possibly farm raised, would not recommend. Order 1 as a taste. Nice restaurant but not for usParking: Decent parking

A great value for happy hour and our server was simply wonderful! Loved the wedge salad, but the chargrilled oysters were miniscule (albeit delicious). Great calamari, gumbo and fish sandwich!
My wife and I always enjoy our experience at Jax. We tried a cold platter that turned out to be excellent. The chowder was phenomenal as always and my wife loved her catfish plate.

Great experience. We were greeted with champaign for our anniversary. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and guided us on our first experience with oysters. The food was amazing.
This is my favorite restaurant I was introduced to thru Restaurant Week 3 years ago. This location is my go to because it has more space, and I got to hear a live musician last night for an early b day present. Service, staff and food always amazing?

Ryan, our awesome server, made the suggestions on both the East coast and West coast oysters. He was spot on. So sweet, clean, taste of the ocean. My scallops were crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. My husband loved the ratio of lobster to dressing on his roll. A wonderful evening.
