I was in Glenwood Springs for a morning hot springs visit, before heading further west. I wanted to support a local business for lunch, and glad I chose the Bluebird Cafe! I was craving a club sandwich and got the turkey club special. Many varieties of quiche looked awesome also.

You place your order at the counter, then choose a seat in the comfy historic storefront space. Perfect views of people, architecture, and the mountains peeking up behind. Quiet, indie-vibe music all would enjoy, as well as local artists represented on the walls and showcase shelves. Safe space and all are welcome.

My fresh sandwich came out quickly; I enjoyed the spinach in place of lettuce on the club and will try that at home.

Bluebird Cafe has a gorgeous soul. I wish there was a place like Bluebird in my hometown and I could go there when I needed to feel at home.

The café is easy to find and just a few blocks off 70, so make this a destination even if not stopping in the town.

I ventured in this place because I wanted an espresso martini with a group of us and that’s when I met the owner Bishop who is the coolest and friendliest person I have ever met. I asked him about how he got started in his business because I thought it was the coolest business concept to have a coffee shop with some cocktails and amazing foods. He explained to me how he use to be an executive chef in Texas and he ended up in glenwood springs. This man puts his blood sweat and tears into this business and he talks very passionately about it and very passionate about his wife who also is a business owner in glenwood. THIS IS THE TYPE OF local businesses we need to support I went to this place 3 days in the row and the food and service was excellent!!!

The food tasted like dirty but my husband and I didn’t finish our meal do to it, it’s kinda expensive for the food and coffee that is served we paid over $60 for two meals and drip coffee.

I like this place. They have good quiche and it’s made with almond flour so it’s gluten free for all you glu-tards out there. My son loves their breakfast options & the biscuits and gravy looks really good but I am stuck on the quiche and haven’t gotten around to ordering anything else in the years I’ve been going here lol. Enjoy!

Being celiac, I was searching for a good breakfast spot that had safe gluten free options. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and had tons of great menu items to choose from. We had the Lox bagel (GF) and the Lorraine quiche. Both were incredible and the bagel was the best I’ve ever had (again, GF). The bagel sandwiches also come full of gluten if your immune system likes you more than mine.

Awesome little restaurant. Reasonably priced, great food and service. I'm gluten and dairy free, and they were very knowledgeable about allergies/food restrictions, and had good options. I had the vegan quiche and a side of bacon and it was amazing. And the music choice is top notch! Well definitely return.

Good healthy food, good coffee, good service. Black-owned business. A breath of fresh air compared to the surroundings.

Almost a $10 latte. 25 c just for it to be iced, yet they are out of everything and it comes in a hot cup with 10 ice cubes. 75c for each flavor plus $1 alt milk. Unfriendly staff the last 3 days I’ve been there visiting with my family. Waited over an hour for our food, extremely understaffed and again, out of everything. Almost $140 for 4 food items, 4 drinks and 2 pastries the other morning.

We visited Glenwood from Denver and expected a cafe on the main strip to be good. Dont stop in here the service is the worst, the person taking orders was on thier phone and was bothered we came in, I usually dont care about service if the food is great but it was not good and cold. Dont stop in this place it will probably be closed soon.
