We had my daughter's baby shower in the separate room and it could not have been more perfect! By far the best part was the service. I could not believe how attentive and enjoyable both Megan and Kailyn (sp?) were with all of our group. They were able to remember everyone's special requests and drink ordrers, make great suggestions, make my little granddaughter feel so special, all while being fun and sweet. Service can make or break an event with 25 people and this was way above and beyond!
On top of that, the room was so pretty with windows, little string lights, flowers, and plenty of space.
The food was great, especially the scones, the curry sandwiches, the macaroons and the shortbread cookies. The 3 people with dietary restrictions and also the little 5 year old each got their own food tower! The teas were delicious, but the alcohol drinks are really good also (and very pretty).
We debated having the shower here because of the expense, but we were SO glad we did. They packaged up some nice treats from the store to make up for the minimum we were required to spend.

And when we get there, atmosphere (decor/ambience) was SO nice, server was SO kind (she even offered us tasting another type of tea ???), food was so good! We had tea service, which comes with unlimited tea tastings, tea sandwiches, scones, and petit fours. The service was lovely and accommodated adults and children. It’s a nice activity for friends and family

The service here was fantastic. I really appreciated the walkthroughs, as this was our first time at tea. The food and tea were delicious and surprisingly filling. I was thinking this would just be a snack but it came out to 2 sandwiches per person plus desserts - highly recommend the chocolate tart thing, it has chunks of salt and is DIVINE.
The location itself is beautiful and in a really great spot. We were able to find parking easily and walk around to a lot of locally owned businesses.
Parking: The Parking Garage is within view of Babe's Tea House. On the weekends, it is free for the first two hours. There is a charge on weekdays or after 2 hours on weekends.

I wish if could say I enjoyed this location as much as I do the downtown one but it was awful. They market it in the website as the cute atmosphere with all the flowers and stuff however when we got there (party of 3) they sat us in an overflow room which was completely white with some flowers in the corners at a card table. We ordered the full high tea, the experience is supposed to be 90 minutes we didn’t even get our first round of tea until we had been sitting for 45 minutes. Our food did not come out until 15 minutes before our time was up. It was really disappointing and to top of off the bill was nearly 200$. I’m willing to pay that for an excellent experience, this was not worth the money and I would never recommend this location.very disappointing-‘do better babes

A delightful spot, that is adorable with a large tea selection. And superior food selection than other locations near by. Our server Jessica went the extra mile to make our visit all the more enjoyable.
I booked a brunch for Halloween weekend specifically because of what they were advertising on the menu. Oddly enough, when we arrived and asked our server what they had for Halloween, she said "not much." Then we got the standard tea tower that they always serve. I felt crazy! When I went to look at their Instagram, they were in fact advertising an entire selection of themed tea and food. Did they just run out?? Really disappointed with the experience.

I’m not sure why the reviews of this location are so harsh and weirdly specific. I went with my aunt and cousins yesterday for a mid-morning tea and had a fabulous experience. The location is prime, right next to the river in Golden, so the patio is lovely. Food isn’t perfect (namely, some sweets are too sweet), but they are very standard for a tearoom and I like that they accommodate for dietary restrictions. But mostly, the tea and drinks are great. The Tea Spill Martini was especially delightful. I recommend for anyone to go and have a relaxing, culinary event!

Very disappointed in our experience would very much so recommend going to their downtown location as the customer service is better. The ambience is better. The temperature of the restaurant is better overall 100% better experience going downtown. Our spot was so hot. We couldn't even drink enough water to stay cooled down the waitress knew we were miserable. Our food was melting before we could even eat it because it was so hot and then our waitress I believe her name was Jessica was so poor. We only got to Try, few tees for a big group of seven because she didn't come around often. Experience downtown everybody was so kind and helpful and informative and checked on us and made us feel cared for this is not the same experience in golden so I would highly recommend for the price and the ambience to not go to this location, which is very sad because we were very excited about the golden location being closer to us . So again, if you get sat in front of the window in the corner, I would ask to be moved because you're going to melt if you get the waitress Jessica and any of the people who help serve with her I would definitely see if you can get other people because it will not be a joyful experience for the price you pay! So more of our experience is if we return, we will go back to the downtown location as we had 100% better experience down there when we went!
