Bella Colibri is a hidden gem — truly the best Italian restaurant in the greater Denver area. We hosted our private wedding rehearsal dinner here for about 50 guests. It started with cocktails and appetizers on the back patio, and then we had our beautiful dinner indoors. Everything was perfect! The event organizer was proactive and thorough, guiding us seamlessly through food and drink selections in advance of the event. Every staff member was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive — the hospitality exceeded our expectations. The food was out of this world: beautifully plated, perfectly timed, and full of fresh, vibrant flavors. Many guests said it was the best meal they had all year!

I have been here probably 15 times, I’d definitely consider myself a foodie who is picky and I think their food is all excellent. I’m shocked it gets 4.4 stars- I suppose people have different expectations but this is hands down my favorite Golden restaurant. Also the atmosphere is the quaintest place, hard to find boutique restaurants like this and they do it so well.

Patio setting was nice and the service was fine. Food was so-so, I did not feel that the price was justified by the quality, quantity or presentation. Meh...Lobster was pretty rubbery and the pork belly was more like little potato pieces, soft not crispy and way too many. Asparagus salad was OK. Wine was fairly priced. Probably will not return but not angry about it...so many other options out there with better food and less expensive (we knew the prices going in so we were not surprised/shocked) just underwhelmed.

Had a fantastic meal here! The orcchiette was delicious, and the dessert special (peach upside cake with raspberry mascarpone, made with local ingredients) was truly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. If you see a dessert made by Amira on the menu, do yourself a favor and order it — she’s incredibly talented and makes amazing desserts!
Service was excellent and cocktails were fantastic. The food had a great presentation but not much flavor couldn’t even taste the listed ingredient.

Amazing place for high-end Italian fare. Service was off the charts and the best starters you can find. The Lasagne Bella was simply amazing. They also had a Chef’s Bar where you can eat your meal while watching the Chefs work. They give you samples of what they are preparing as you watch. So cool. Will absolutely be back!

We had been thinking of this restaurant for a simple destination for dinner, but I’m so glad we save it for our special occasion. I don’t know why it only has 4.4/5.0. For quant fine Italian dinning, this is the place in Golden. Highly recommend!
