Some cocktails always give a suggestion on how the rest of the food will be. One of those is an Apperol Spritz. An Italian restaurant should have that cocktail down! Here, it tasted like soda water and a hint of Apperol hidden between all the ice cubes. I don't know where the prosecco was but I couldn't find it. As that, the food was also only so so. Small portion what made it all very expensive. We will not go back.

We've been going to Bella Colibri since it opened a few years ago. It has always been very good, but now it's great. My wife's Beef Bolognese was one of the, if not the, best we've ever tasted...thick meaty sauce, al dente pasta and a generous serving; and my Pork Shank was as well...large, super tender, pale meat, with wonderful flavor, surrounded by wilted spinach and tasty, but rather soupy polenta. The relatively short, but superb, list of Italian red wines has impressive. The list of whites a bit less so, but still offering some tasty choices. Eric, our server, has been on the job a long time and has always taken excellent care of us...professional but friendly and efficient. Our guests also loved their dishes.

We loved this place! The ambience makes you feel like you've gone to Italy and are eating in one of their quaint, red brick buildings. Beautiful atomosphere, kind service, with absolutely fabulous drinks and food. We will definitely be back when in Golden!

Romantic little Italian Restaurant in Golden. Our dinners were delicious and well prepared. We had salad, entrees and wine. The noise level was high but the restaurant was fairly busy early in the evening, so be prepared if your hearing impaired. Atmosphere was great and the staff wonderful and very attentive. Our excellent server was Sam and I forgot the bartenders name working that evening but both were great! The two of them made our dinner experience wonderful. We have dined here before and our experience has always been great. mk

Great dinner with a friend. Good place for a conversation yet the vibe is "active." Food was wonderful, a little pricey, but staff very accomodating re shared plates and requests.

My dining companion's pasta dish was delicious; my seafood cannelloni seemed to be missing most of the seafood - the filling was a potato-ey mash. I'll stick with the primi menu next time.

The Pasta dishes we had were outstanding. Eggplant sauce (pasta Norma) and beef bolognese. We had the olives as an appetizer because there really are no side salads on the menu. If there were salads (house, Caesar) this would have rated 5 stars in my book!

Honestly, save your money and go somewhere else. We came on my husband's birthday and he ordered the short ribs, most expensive item on the menu and the meat was terrible dry. we returned the food- we were also seated in an awkward passthrough between two restaurants right outside the bathrooms. It was not a good experience, especially for the prices they charge.

Great food but very hard to get a normal meal with small salad, main course with normal portions and desert. We got a huge main course and roll. Needs a redesign, too much emphasis on wine not enough on giving you a balanced meal.

We had dined here previously with good results, in no small part because of the warm atmosphere in the main dining room, and therefore had high expectations. Booked for Valentines Day well in advance. We were seated in a non-descript room (not the main dining room) with nothing on the walls but paint - a cold, almost institutional atmosphere at best....even some rented artwork would have made a difference. Ice maker room was around the corner from us and the door was open so there were times when our conversation was drowned out by the noise of filling ice containers. Service was good and food was great, but it was all greatly diminished by the setting - If this was all that was available at the time of booking, I should have been made aware...if we were relegated to this room for some other reason, I would like to know what that was

Creative menu, delicious á la carte selection of appetizers, salads, Primi (pasta), and Secondi courses and a simple selection of wines on the menu plus another extensive wine list. Our group especially enjoyed the beef short rib Gnocchi, the salted cod Cannelloni, and the Cacciucco (Tuscan seafood stew). The Tiramisu was large enough to share, and the Lava Cake was fabulous, well worth the 15 minute wait. Service was very attentive, can't wait to go back and try some more dishes!

The presentation of the food spot on and the service was excellent. I was traveling from another state (comparing them to my local fav), could use some zing in the sauce and some great hot bread then you get my 5 stars!Parking: Free parking on weekends

Really good experience. The food was great, can vouch for the spaghetti and lasagna both being worth it. A little noisy at times and a very small area but overall a great dinner and would come back

This is a lovely restaurant, the service is exceptional, the food is excellent & the cocktails are unique & deliscious. The service is good too. Very busy, need reservations. It's small & quaint. My only complaint is the acoustics, very loud & noisy.
