One of the best burritos I’ve ever had! SO delicious! The coffee was so good too!! With oat milk. It was the first one on the list (can’t remember the name). And very friendly staff!

Six out of five stars. The food is awesome but the atmosphere puts it over the top.

Horrible food poisoning, the thing they roast the green chiles with after they close have birds that are chilling on it. God knows if they clean it. Threw up twice. Keep giving them chances, will not do that again. Horrible food safety issues as somebody told me they’ve been sited for rodents multiple times and not to go. Should have listened. Why spend 15$ on a burrito that will make you feel crap

This review applies to the breakfast burritos only, not the locations, staff, or service.

I don't know how Bonfire got a chokehold on seemingly every coffee shop in Denver, but I eat their burritos a lot. My favorite is the chorizo, although they all sort of start to taste the same when you have them on a regular basis. Some have too much potato and not enough other fillings (where's the egg?), which makes them stodgy and dry. But when paired with a tasty salsa, they slap, especially if they're pressed or heated outside the wrapper. In my opinion, Tenn Street Coffee and Books does the best job prepping and serving them, and they provide some great salsas for dipping. Overall, the burritos are good, but I'd like more variety.

If you come to or live in CO and you don’t pre order a Bonfire Burrito online and pick it up 1.5 hours later and go to Golden and walk/tube in Clear Creek after renting a tube at Adventure West River Tube, finally stopping at the Golden Mill for a beer— you are not doing Colorado right. We stop here in the am after ordering online (the only way to do it) before any big event. Hiking? Need this burrito. Traveling west? Need this burrito. Skiing? Burrito. Sad? Burrito now. Bonfire Burrito is the only breakfast burrito you need on any morning for any occasion. I get the giant vegan burrito. You can also get a giant definitely not vegan burrito. They are amazing. Go now.

Fantastic burritos and friendly staff. It's just a little cold eating in there when it's cold outside.

I was up in Lakewood and wanted to find a spot to grab a bite. As usual, this turned into a Maps perusal of nearby options, and Bonfire stood out quickly. I made my way there with my eyes (and stomach) set on the Chupacabra and, let me tell you, it didn't disappoint.

This is a wildly busy place during the lunch hour, but street parking is available, keeping access easy. The staff are engaged and awesome, and the good was great.

If you're anywhere near Golden, ditch Qdoba and the rest of the chains and do yourself a favor by dropping into Bonfire.

The flavor was good, ordered the Chupacabre. I ordered the original size, after reading reviews that stated the burrito would be the 'size of my head' I can safely report that they are between 33-50% the size of an average Chipotle Burrito. If you also account for the fact that the Original Chupacabre is $14.25, this is a terrible value proposition. GF ordered a taco, tacos are $5.50. With tip we are already at $25 for a medium sized burrito and 1 taco. For the service, it appeared busy at the time but multiple orders went out. After 10 minutes and everyone standing around in the kitchen, I mentioned they hadn't called my name. They then began assembling my order. The staff was pleasant but the dining room looked like it has never been cleaned. This place is overall average to below average. The flavor of the Chupacabre was nice but the Jackalope taco my GF ordered was underwhelming and under-seasoned. Better than Santiago's? Sure. Am I going 20 minutes out of my way for one? No.

Parking: There is a curb on the NE side of the lot that could be an issue for low clearance vehicles.

Some of my favorite burritos anywhere in the world. Get the Chupacabra 50/50 and thank me later. Chips and guac are solid too.

Editing to note that my photos are from way back when it was a food truck, but the burritos are as delicious as ever.

Great food and drinks. Burritos are quite large. Very busy on weekends, so plan to wait for a while. But you can find a nice spot on the patio and enjoy the sunshine!
