Our server, Ashlyn, was outstanding and made dining at Bridgewater Grill a very enjoyable experience. My Veggie Pesto Flatbread was absolutely delicious; the salmon on my husband's Caesar salad was overcooked. Prices were reasonable, and we liked that we could carry on a conversation without having to talk loud or strain to hear. We'll be back!

The service was the worst I've ever experienced. We sat for 15-20 minutes without being greeted by a server, then had to ask for initial water 3 times before resorting to flagging down a food runner. There were only a few tables sat, yet the servers were sparse. My poached eggs were over cooked (hard). Very disappointing for Golden.

The hostess walked us by an empty dining area to seat us in the noisy bar area; my burger was overcooked; my wife's tacos were bland; it was a very below average experience.

This is a great location - quiet enough to have a conversation. My friend and I split the French Dip, paying $3 to each get a side. The side salad, with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing was the highlight of the meal. The French dip arrived with the bottom roll soaked through, so there was no chance to eat it as a sandwich. The meat itself was almost tasteless - maybe reheated in water? The restaurant is right on the creek, and has 2 hours free parking in their large lot for lunch patrons. I'll try it again,, assuming the rest of the food lives up to the quality of the salad.

We had brunch and everything was delicious - avocado toast, omelette, eggs Benedict, yogurt and fruit. We had a group of 11 and the table/seating was very comfortable. Definitely recommend as a great spot in downtown Golden!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Golden Hotel’s Bridgewater Grill! I have very severe food allergies, and Manager Rachel went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled flawlessly. The kitchen staff was amazing — they took every precaution, and my meal was absolutely perfect.
My server (I wish I could remember his name!) had such a great personality and took incredible care of me. He was working behind the bar on the porch that evening and made the whole experience feel so welcoming.
It was my first time dining out in a very long time, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so grateful to the entire team for their kindness and attention to detail. I will definitely be back!

Hamburger was $11.50 and then they wanted you to buy the waffle fries that should come with for $11.50. Burger was so so. No need for us to go back.

Had a decent lunch here with friends. Food was good, the creek was great, service was big swing and a miss. I Loved the Salmon BLTA and our drinks were tasty, but honest question - why do you have somebody like Nate serving at your restaurant; do you not have enough competent servers available or did he just miss any and all training? Absolutely no hustle and his lack of experience was obvious to all around. The guy hasn’t got a clue….

Came in last night (10/3) for dinner and drinks. We were given a long wait time for the patio, so we went to their lounge for our dinner. Waited even more for our food, drinks, and our check. Food was good, but service could use some improvement. Would recommend if you don’t mind waiting, or maybe I’m just impatient…..

We were there for about 40 minutes and then we were informed that they had an accident in the kitchen (which it happens and that’s OK) and we were told that our food would arrive in 30 minutes. Another 45 minutes, went by and nothing, when we asked the server, she said that it would be another HOUR at least and that she wasn’t sure about the timing. We waited almost an extra hour for food that never arrived and could’ve gone somewhere else. We were (are) completely starving and if she would’ve told us that they don’t know what time the kitchen will go back to work properly we would’ve left then. Completely frustrated.
