The food was ok, drinks were good and the service was solid. Ordered the artichoke dip. It was a good starter portion. I chose the buffalo meatloaf and my partner choose the wild West burger.The meatloaf was good and it's a really large portion. I thought the very slightly toasted white bread was a bit odd but it wasn't bad. I chose a side salad and didn't really enjoy it but it's not a big deal more of a preference.I'm told the Burger was solid with no complaints.For a drink I got the snake oil. Well prepared and hit the spot.

Our favorite place in Golden! Great food, live music, and an Old West atmosphere really make this a nice experience.Our waiter was Cassidy (hope i spelled it right). What a great young man! Very polite, attentive, and made great recommendations!

Came here after visiting the Buffalo Bill Museum up lookout mountain nearby. The food here was so good! We ordered some Devils on Horseback, which are bacon wrapped figs with a really tasty bourbon sauce glaze. We then had the Bison meatloaf sandwich and an elk burger. Every food we had was delicious and properly cooked. We had also tried a mixed drink, the backdoor man, but we both decided We didn't love it (the drink has maple syrup in it - which didn't mix well for our pallets. A bad choice, the drink was executed properly by the bartender. ).If I had any complaints, maybe the price is a bit steeper than I'd usually go, but nowadays fast food restaurants are only a couple dollars less so this was a deal.

Had the worst service from a waiter named Matt not only did he not take our order till we sat there for 10 minutes after he made contact because he had to run around and talk to five different people then finally took our order, we ordered the pokey nachos and the Ahi just tasted like water. No seasoning no nothing it just was plain. I’ve had pokey nachos other places and it was amazing, I’ve been here before and had much better service so maybe you should have a talk with Matt that when someone comes in there to have a nice experience, they don’t want to feel the way he made us feel
