This place was packed on a Saturday night! We were able to join the wait-list before we arrived, which helped. When we got there, we realized it was the start of restaurant week so not sure that had anything to do with it. They are participating with a select 3 course menu for $35. My daughter and I spent the day in evergreen enjoying the mountains. We decided to have dinner in Golden. Tried to find a dog friendly restaurant and cast iron tavern is the place we decided upon!
The moment we walked in the hostess greeted us and knew we wanted to sit outside she was very apologetic that the heaters weren’t out. But she sat us near the fire pit! The atmosphere was perfect.

Went there for a birthday dinner. The staff were super friendly, the food was really good. Most of the customers were adult age, so the atmosphere was great for an adults only outing. Highly recommend.
