We enjoyed our dinner out at Chart House. The menu is pretty extensive and we enjoyed our selections (fish, seafood). Presentation of the food is very good. Good views. Pricing about right for the quality of the food.

Everything from menu selection, to service, to atmosphere, to beautiful views. Make this restaurant one of my favorite. Not to mention the exceptional food. Every time is memorable experience !

They knew ahead of time we were celebrating our anniversary, yet, put us at the worst and smallest table in the corner. Other couples were given a regular table in the center with a great view.

Terrible experience and service. Waited quite some time over and over just for water. Ordered mahi and it was dry. Then was told that we'd receive a menu for our anniversary as it was printed with ‘happy anniversary' with a ribbon, but there was no mention of it after or when we got the bill. The lack of service, mediocre food, and over promise with lack of delivery was exhausting. I would not recommend it nor will we be back.

Outstanding restaurant! So many options and all very tasty. Staff was exceptionally talented and knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Was researching a place for Easter Dinner and found a place in Golden that took last minute reservations. It was fancier than I had anticipated - a great place for an anniversary dinner. Everything from food to service was excellent. There were 2 things that I'd like to see changed: 1. No substitutions? When you're paying $77 for a 3-course meal, why can't you have potatoes instead of rice? 2. Sharing tips. We still gave 20%, but as it was Easter, we would have given more if we knew it went to the lovely, friendly, hard-working waitress that served us.

The Host was accommodating, receptive and friendly. Our server was equally so. He was detail oriented and did not rush us. The entrees of halibut and surf and turf were excellent. This calls for a repeat for us. Though we live in the metro Denver area, the drive is worth it for the excellent food and service.

They need to go to a buffet on Easter. We had to wait way too long for our food and when it came out, it was cold.

Food was excellent! We were seated on time with our reservation. Each course was delivered to each guest simultaneously. (No one was waiting 👍) They were busy.....so it felt maybe a little slow, but it was Easter Sunday. Overall it was a lovely experience!

False Advertised Happy Hour. Happy Hour only applies if you are sitting at the literal bar counter. I've never encountered another restaurant with this rule, and could not find any mention of it on the site or menu. We came in with Happy Hour expectations and only found out we were paying full price when the check arrived...
If you have a reservation, you are not eligible for HH, and since I felt like we were lied to, 3 stars.

The food and staff were great however.

The prices and unique options (like prime rib sliders!) on the happy hour menu originally drew me in and I specifically got reservations to be within the timeframe.

Except the happy hour menu is ONLY available at the bar, which is NOT MENTIONED on the website at all. I overheard the table next to us being confused about it as well. Those appetizers are completely unavailable to the dining room - which I can understand, maybe they don’t have the capacity or supplies to serve them.

But I got the same cocktail from the same bar and had to pay twice as much because I made reservation? That sucks, man. I felt duped and embarrassed, which are not great emotions to start a nice dinner I’d been looking forward to.

Speaking of price, I understand nicer restaurants charge more for the high quality food and better service - but frankly I didn’t experience either of those. The steak was delicious, but my linguine wasn’t fully cooked in places and crunchy. There were 3 shrimp and 5 of the smallest scallops I’ve seen. We also ordered a side of mushrooms that we had to remind the waitstaff about twice and didn’t receive until we’d finished our meal.

Those types of things normally wouldn’t bother me much - the food was still good and I don’t blame the waiter or kitchen for missing a side dish. But it’s enough that I can’t justify the $40 per plate price.

When we left, the dining room was nearly empty and there was a line for the bar. Clearly the play is to just eat at the bar - the prices are great and the food looked delicious.

We do plan on returning to sit at the bar for happy hour and get the experience we were originally expecting, and hopefully I’ll have a more positive review to report.

The restaurant was too hot. The service is slow and it just seems like the restaurant as a whole has lost its touch.

Our waitress was good, she checked on us, unfortunately the oysters Rockefeller were warm and my friends said the calamari was cold. Asked for a medium rare steak (far from medium) and a lobster tail that was over cooked… and all the manager could do for us was give us a free dessert. For being an upscale restaurant I was totally not impressed. We were there Saturday the 14th of December. If you don’t have enough staff to cover then don’t accept all the reservations. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family.
