Frustrating experience. The shop technically closes at 5, but they were already shutting things down well before that. They also weren’t making hot sandwiches, which is disappointing when the most popular item—the Knuckle Sandwich—is supposed to be hot. If a closing time and signature items are advertised, they should still be available. Hopefully this helps others plan better and encourages the owner to make a small adjustment.

This shop felt like stepping into the show Friends.
It was nostalgic, warm, and truly inviting. The workers joked with us. Gave us recs. Slid over little samples. Bellowed across the shop to make sure we liked everything. they were cool so I felt cool. iykyk
and food-wise, my french dip with giardiniera was so good I ate like 2x the amount my stomach could probably hold. and I could’ve slurped up the au jus if I wasn’t trying to be so cool with these cool people.
All in all, just real cool.

I’ve never been physically attracted to a sandwich before I ate at D’Deli. My life has been forever changed by that orgasmic panini. Pairs well with a diet coke and Zapp’s.

Way too many options and the bread was way too thick. Mid sandwich. Claustrophobic environment as well.

So glad we stopped here for lunch! The sandwiches were great, the service was fast, and it had a nice hole-in-the wall vibe. Only downside is there is limited seating inside and no bathroom.

Great sandwich in theory made poor by undercooked bread. The banh mi picture on the website reflects a classic, crunchy baguette. The actual sandwich is on a pale, sad, dry
loaf. Great idea, terrible execution.

My daughter’s exact words, “This is the best sub I’ve ever had!” I have to agree with her. Great food!
I’ve been here a few times was pretty good but most of the time the food is so soggy

I remember these sandwiches used to be great. Just finished a sub and was disappointed- the value for the money just isn’t there. I got a “whole” that was only about 8” for $16…extremely expensive! Combined with a somewhat stale brownie and the experience was average at best. Hope the owners make some changes, the value just isn’t there any more!
