Vegan menu item is Super Arepa Supreme Vegan which is one of best arepas I’ve had. They know what vegan is and can make the burrito vegan. They use whole black and pinto beans.

Great small mom and pop restaurant. Came across this location while walking downtown Golden and the puposas were definitely the best part. Nice consistency with the dough, cheese and filling of choice. The hortcha was a plus, a great cold sweet drink.

Great place to eat in Golden! Their arepas are good and also vegetarian options are available. We took also vegetarian spinach & mushroom pupusa that was delicious. Service had been always kind.
Restaurant itself is very small so they don't have many tables to sit indoors. But there is some tables outside front of the restaurant to enjoy your food if weather is good.

Very reasonably priced and Highly recommend by the people on the streets - ended up with the burritos and the open faced, tortilla thing

Charming little hole in the wall in the middle of Goldens touristy downtown, it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it or swept away by the masses of families and students milling about.
A small family run operation by the looks of it it brings authentic and lovingly crafted Latin American cuisine.
I had the Super (and it is) Arepa with El pastor as the protein and I was pleasantly surprised. A little messy but expertly tucked into a handheld wrapper, there are a handful of flavors coinciding and creating a symphony for the taste buds.
Ask for spicy if you want spicy. I haven't tried that yet.
I highly recommend and will be returning again, soon.

this place is insanely good. i’ve been coming here for 7 years and the quality remains high relative to other restaurants in the town. the owners are always friendly and prices are very reasonable given colorado inflation. i love this place!!

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I tried the papusas with chicken and green chile, which were quite good—flavorful and satisfying. However, the Colombian tamale was a major letdown. The flavors were lacking, and it didn't hold its shape at all. It was incredibly dry, and it felt like they just tossed in a bland piece of chicken without any seasoning into the masa.
Additionally, I ordered a papaya juice, which was a 3/10. It was very watery and lacked the rich, sweet flavor I was hoping for. I’m disappointed because my family is from Colombia, and I feel they’re catering to a certain demographic without delivering authentic flavors.
