Great small mom and pop restaurant. Came across this location while walking downtown Golden and the puposas were definitely the best part. Nice consistency with the dough, cheese and filling of choice. The hortcha was a plus, a great cold sweet drink.
Great place to eat in Golden! Their arepas are good and also vegetarian options are available. We took also vegetarian spinach & mushroom pupusa that was delicious. Service had been always kind.
Restaurant itself is very small so they don't have many tables to sit indoors. But there is some tables outside front of the restaurant to enjoy your food if weather is good.

Needed a gluten free options, while everyone was getting d'deli ... El callejon did not disappoint. Homemade pico, great tortillas, and the food was delicious and authentic. Very reasonably priced and Highly recommend by the people on the streets - ended up with the burritos and the open faced, tortilla thing
