I love this place! My mom and i live in Denver, but sometimes we drive 30 minutes to golden just to get some of these cupcakes. We have gluten allergies, and these are by far the best gluten free cupcakes we've had. They always have cool new flavors and they're always so moist and good. The workers there are all very nice and patient while we choose from all the tasty flavors. The shop is a cute little place where you can sit and enjoy your cupcakes and it's right near a lot of other cute shops, so you can wander if you want too. On the pricey side but soooo worth it!

This is the cutest little cupcake shop in Golden, CO! Their cupcakes are so delicious that we had them cater our desserts for our wedding in Idaho Springs in August 2023. We had carrot cake, lemon, chocolate, turtle, and vanilla cupcakes. You honestly can’t go wrong! We also rented their cupcake stands for the wedding and the set-up was so pretty and easy! Thank you, goldmine cupcakes! We absolutely love you.

Best cupcakes around! Gold Mine always has the most delicious, moist, and flavorful cupcakes. Often get them for parties and gatherings. Stopped by recently and ordered the Red Velvet and Carrot Cake - both were insanely delicious. Their staff is friendly and helpful too! Suggest getting there before 5pm as their cupcakes are so popular they sometimes sell out. Yum!

Mitch, the man of the hour, lost a bet and his dignity in one fell swoop by sauntering in dressed as everyone’s favorite temperamental duck. The costume was nothing short of hilarious—a fluffy white bottom, bright yellow tights that left nothing to the imagination, and those outrageously large webbed feet.The staff at Gold Mine Cupcakes played their part in this comedic play brilliantly. They greeted Mitch with chuckles and high spirits, making sure his cupcake purchase was as memorable as it was humiliating. Not content with just laughing, they had Mitch perform 'I'm a Little Teapot' complete with all the actions, which he did with a bashful but good-natured quack.The cupcakes? Came in after having a few drinks down the street. Read mixed reviews but we are glad we gave this place a try. We came in 30 mins before close and were still welcome and they had a decent selection of treats. Tasted great!

Great presentation and wonderful staff but the quality isn't good. Didn't taste fresh; cupcakes stored in the fridge just aren't the same as fresh baked. Won't be back :(
