Being the second largest brewery in Golden - they are by far the best. Great off-the-main-street location, quaint little taphouse with lots of outdoor seating with heaters for cooler weather. Not a huge selection of beers, but the ones we had are excellent. Evolution IPA, Lookout Stout, Guava Bomber Sour and the Arrogant Brit ESB. If you’re in Golden, don’t go to Coors - visit Golden City Brewing!
Excellent brewery. Golden has a pretty solid brewery scene that I think beats out Denver by a good bit (fight me). Golden City is probably one of the peak breweries within the scene in Golden. A small menu of beers on tap, and you might be like oh but I think I want 567 options. Nah you want exactly what's on tap cause it's perfectly dialed in. They know what they are doing here, trust in the process and enjoy the garden while sipping on some good brew.
Stopped on way to Breck. First time. It's primarily a brewery and taproom with limited food. We wanted just a snack so this fit the bill.
Beer (oatmeal stout & Vienna lager) was excellent. Soft pretzel was really good.
They even have sweet or a savory smore kits for sale! They have micro fire pits at some tables so you can make smores! We didn't have the time, but we will do it next time we are in the Front Range.
