Guido's Pizza Genesee

This is the first time Ive ever had to change a review. About 2 years ago this place was delicious! Today, the person who answered the phone was rude. Took my order, when my husband picked it up that same person was rude to him as well. Got the pizza home and it was not good. The garlic bread was burnt. Still ate some but threw some away. I'm sad that the place has gone down hill that much. What happened? We wont be returning.

This place is great for someone like me who is constantly working up in the mountains, gets me through the day knowing I’ll be able to stop by and get really good and surprisingly cheap pizza. Staff is always nice and atmosphere is great. Would rather make the 30 minute drive from where I live to have their pizza than go down the street to the local pizza place

I swear Coloradans don’t have one single clue when it comes to pizza. As a person from the east coast, this is NOT it. Not even close. Sorry guys.

Edit to add: as I continue to eat this pizza and meatball sub, I’m changing my review to one star. This is truly awful.

First impressions of this place were amazing, I loved the atmosphere and the vibe that was given off. Having heard the hype, I was super excited to try this place.

The food I tried (gyro and pizza w/sides) were phenomenal. Excellent food. However, the service was so bad I had to write about it. The employed staff is Young, which is fine, but this seemed to showed in the service that was provided. They were more concerned with getting to know one another, and catching up with other staff that my service was extremely slow, mind you I was the only one in the restaurant. They didn’t even know their own beer menu and despite being advertised on the wall, no Coors light. Took twenty minutes to get a second beer after mine was clearly empty and multiple staff noticed by glance. The one younger lady that was working was the only one doing anything while the other young male employees were more interested in the gossip and goings on of earth other. I don’t care if you have moralé or want to socialize but when I’m the only customer in the place and I’m waiting extensively, maybe that isn’t the time.

Amazing food though, probably will be back.

Clean comfortable atmosphere with good pizza and interestingly, an amazing gyro and Greek salad combo!

You cannot have your hair hanging over a pizza then push your hair back with your hand then touch any part of the pizza or any food.

I didn't go inside, but the calzone was to go, and it was fantastic! It was an extremely generous proportion I was not expecting

This was good pizza. Had two cheese slices. It was a little over cooked but not to bad really. The location it is in is very nice. The shopping center is just on a hill side tucked in next to the forrest really pretty. I thought I had made a wrong turn coming to it until I saw the gas station. Good prices too.

The pizza is amazingly delicious!!

We recently moved from the city and I was of course worried about not having a nice pizza place nearby. Guido's was a nice surprise and always tastes great with little waiting.
