Wow! Wisco Girl here and this is the most friendliest place I’ve been in Denver! The bartender was top notch! So welcoming and could feel her genuine love and light! Great drinks, food and environment! Will definitely come back when I come back to Denver! This place may be the reason I come back!

Gift card buyer/holder beware. They wouldn’t honor a gift card purchased during previous ownership. Seems like this would just be seemless to the customer and the right thing to do in honoring them. There wasn’t even an offer to do something else instead which seems like the 2nd best thing to do to keep a customer.

They helped us pick out the best dinner! We are so appreciative of them and their kindness, humor, and of course their great taste! Thank you both!The beers: I had 3 mini pours. One was the double IPA that benefits Search and Rescue another was an imperial stout aged in Whiskey Barrels and the third was a mix of 3 variations of their imperial stout. All were great but the first two really shined! The double IPA is a tricky beer to make without it getting too pulled in any direction. This was flavorful, tastefully hopped (not overboard), not dank, not overly bitter. It is a beautiful creation! The barrel aged stout was also well-balanced. So many people do so many weird things to these too. In my opinion, this would be the imperial stout to take lessons from.The pizza was also phenomenal! We got the rancher and it was just what we were after. Not super heavy, but savory enough to satisfy. 10/10This was the perfect casual date night for us and Mountain Tap is going to become a go-to.

Horrible horrible service!!! So slow. It wasn’t even busy! The food was horrible also. My burger tasted like charcoal!!! Absolutely will NOT return!!! Horrid service!!! I have worked in bars/restraunts and this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! When you go to a bar, you should t have to beg for a beer. Plenty other places that would be happy to serve you and take your money!!

Mtn Tap is a great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Welcoming to all! Beer is cold and priced right. Food is delicious. Chef is awesome. Staff is the best! Comforting atmosphere!

I brought my friend and her young daughter for dinner and we had a great time! It was trivia night and the crowd was lively and fun. The staff was extremely helpful and our food arrived quickly. We both had burgers and they were great...I would definitely order the Hawaiian burger again. It's nice to have a local neighborhood bar nearby to go to! Another reviewer said the staff was rude but we didn't experience that at all...I plan to bring my friends from work for a Happy Hour soon.

Used to love coming here. However I came here recently for the first time without my boyfriend and was harassed by other regulars and the kitchen staff who called my friend and I b****es. Another customer was allowed to yell racist and sexist slurs and curses at us. Even when I asked for help from the staff, no staff asked him to leave or escorted him out. I will not be coming back and I recommend that no one visit this bar, especially if you are a woman.

The windows are dark but the lights are on. From the outside it may appear if they are closed but this place is a solid grill with good food and friendly regulars. Portions are large and fresh. Good beer selection and mid shelf alcohol. One of the best darts setups I've seen at a bar, with 4 boards and I. Great condition. The staff is friendly and attentive.
