They charged me more than what is in the receipt. Be careful with them!

Was really disappointed in the food as I live close by and the ambiance is really nice. Very overpriced margaritas that were highly watered down and had fake lime juice. Tacos and guac were underwhelming. Sigh.

Staff were kind, funny, and great.

Food was so low quality. One of the worst burgers I have ever had and the tacos were just meh. That’s just restaurants these days though, what can you do?

It’d be nice to witness some heart and soul go into food quality, preparation, creativity, and presentation, but you will not find that here. Bummer.

Good atmosphere, service was only so-so. But the food ... man, I was disappointed. Margarita was watered down, guacamole had no flavor, chips had no salt, and the tacos were only okay (no. much variety). For the size and quality, the tacos are easily almost double in price than what I think would be reasonable. One margarita, three tacos, and a chips/salsa app split by a third cost each of us $50-$55 after taxes and tip. Not worth that price in the least.

I like trying different tacos so I opted for ordering single tacos instead of the 3-taco option where you can only get 3 of the same kind. I was excited to try their “signature” carne asada but it was SO burnt. All I could taste was the burnt taste - for $8.50! For that price point, I was expecting wayyy better. When I told the server, no recourse was offered, not even an apology. My bad that I didn’t take a photo of the burnt meat as proof before I scarfed it down since I was starving and that’s how I’m used to eating with a toddler running around. I spent nearly $100 for 2 adults and a toddler, why would I lie about a single taco?! So that’s how the customer service is, the food is ok, the shrimp taco was the best out of the 3 I tried (the suadero was dry) and the butternut squash soup was good too. Best part of the place is the ambiance, lots of cozy areas. And I appreciated that they didn’t charge me for the side of chips I asked for my toddler - given the price of the tacos, it seemed like the kind of place where they’d charge you for chips.

Just drove 20 minutes to eat and have drinks since they are dog friendly. Patio was nice but the service or lack of service was TERRIBLE!!!! I walked in to notify the 4 employees we would be sitting on the patio with our dogs. It wasn’t busy how ever 15 minutes went by without ever being offer water or menus (when we walked in they were bringing menus to another table). It’s sad the place looked nice. We ended up leaving and going to another place that was dog friendly.

Horrible service - servers don’t even do their job - just wait around for no good reason to just leave. Don’t come here ever

I tried the jicama and cucumber salad whilst sitting outside. The artificial turf had more color and probably more taste than this salad. One of two things I assume is happening; the back of house is sending out subtle messages that they are being held against their will and being forced to make what in some prison camps qualifies as salad. Or they literally have no way to grow/keep/use fresh ingredients. Also, they ran out of cucumber. I’m so hungry. There’s a gas station down the road. Maybe there’s something on the roller for the past 6 hours that’s a little more fresh.

The only reason this is a 2 star and not a 1 star is due to our server (once finally being greeted and served), she was kind, OTHERWISE, this place is a mess and it's too bad. Second time trying Nomad (two years apart) and the food is OK but with it is being so close to Red Rocks and a constant flow of people, you'd think they'd up their game. We made reservations on their website and that was a joke because it is seat yourself so why they offer reservations is beyond me. When I tried to stop a staff member and clarify we didn't need to check in for our reservation she was entirely rude, making me feel as if I was stupid and inconveniencing her. We found a seat and then just sat there... 10 minutes, no one acknowledged us, we had to find someone and ask (and yes, staff was buzzing around so it wasn't like we weren't seen). Finally a server came to us and she was kind (but no apology for the wait and no water brought to the table). Ordered chips and salsa and the chips were legit soggy, we had to ask for a new bowl. The food did come out quickly and it was fine but nothing special. The drinks were "meh" - definitely not worth $14 for a margarita. In summary, go somewhere else if you're in the area. What a waste of time and money!

Though it was super convenient for Nomad to be inside of the Red Rocks hotel, we weren't necessarily impressed with the service. We had made a reservation for 5pm, to eat before leaving for a show, but there was no host to even check us in or acknowledge that. We seated ourselves but overall, it just seemed really unorganized. There were probably 3 total tables, sitting, but the waiter couldn't really keep up. The ambience and our food was good, though.
