We came for a late lunch before check in and were the only people there. Food was good but expensive. Service was prompt and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and priced as you might expect for a hotel. We liked the convenience as well as the fireplace and soft music with an opportunity to sit outside.
Restaurant is at a great venue. We loved staying at the Origin. The food and drinks were great. They were out of tortilla chips, which is sort of different for a Mexican restaurant. Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way.  it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience. 
I like trying different tacos so I opted for ordering single tacos instead of the 3-taco option where you can only get 3 of the same kind. I was excited to try their “signature” carne asada but it was SO burnt. All I could taste was the burnt taste - for $8.50! For that price point, I was expecting wayyy better. When I told the server, no recourse was offered, not even an apology. My bad that I didn’t take a photo of the burnt meat as proof before I scarfed it down since...
