We came to celebrate my father’s 85th birthday. Our server Tim was awesome, and the food was outstanding! The team made my father feel special and we look forward to more visits to Old Capitol Grill

Came here on our vacation to Colorado, and the brisket Mac and cheese is so rich and creamy! This place is amazing, and the atmosphere, including the old bar, is amazing. Would recommend for tourists or for the residents of Golden

Food was good. At least the sandwich I got was great. Fries were average as was the coleslaw. Which was a bit disappointing. But our waitress was great. Very friendly. And the food came out quickly. Although it was like 3pm on a Friday so not that busy.

Came for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. Food was good and were enjoyed our visit.

Not a good experience. $62 dollars for a burnt chicken sandwich, a below average wrap, and 2 basic drinks. They said 20% gratuity was included in the tip, but upon doing the math ourselves we think it was 40% and we were taken advantage of. Would not recommend. We also didn’t even get a copy of our receipt when we asked. The waitress just swiped our card on her handheld device - wouldn’t answer my questions, then walked away.

All (9) of our dishes were very good. Considering it was fairly crowded, I thought the wait staff did a really good job.

Be careful if you have food allergies!!! I clearly informed the staff about my food allergy when placing my order. Despite this, my dish still contained the allergen. This isn’t just an inconvenience — it’s a serious health risk.

If you have any kind of food allergy or dietary restriction, I highly recommend choosing a different restaurant — one that takes your safety seriously.

Best burger ever! The bison burger was just amazing I really like it!

Recommend loaded baked potato soup - very good. Could have been a titch hotter. Turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese and apples on cranberry walnut bread was excellent.

Stopped in for a quick bit and this place has some history. Great service and outstanding staff. Cold beer and great food. Took a tour and the pictures on the wall tell an amazing story. We had a burger with quite a few different appetizers and some more beer. Enjoyed the time. Thank you all and see you soon.

Not sure this smokehouse and grill owns either. Bland food. Undercooked Brussel sprouts. Tough chicken and brisket. The Ruben was in name only. Atmosphere was as mid as the food. Good thing they have alcohol to drown your expectations. Decent service.
