We love this restaurant, but last night’s dinner was disappointing. Chicken fajitas were over cooked and dry and cook must have spilled salt in the rice that was crunchy and the chicken burrito. We understand staff shortages, but after a 45 minute wait, you’d hope food would be delicious. We won’t be back for awhile.
Love the chips and salsa, then it's on to the Ranchiladas. A delicious marinated skirt steak with cheese enchiladas beans and rice. Of course we have to top it off with a frozen peach margarita.
This Tex Mex restaurant used to have great frozen Borderita Grandes, which we were told don't come frozen anymore...bummer. The used to be a place we'd drive 20 minutes to dine, but things seem to have changed...sadly. Still, it is reasonable. Ah, the good old days!
Today I had a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup and it was the absolute worst I have ever had. You should be embarrassed, it was that bad. I was on a first lunch date and didn't want to send it back. I did get a to go dish but promptly tossed it as soon as my date left. To add to the awfulness that was your soup, therwere no tortilla strips served with. No garnish at all. This was the Golden location. My server, however, was very nice. We tipped her very well.
Great food… even better bartenders!!! Holly is great!!!
My wife and I are in Colorado where my wife is receiving treatment from the top lung hospital in the nation and we decided to stop by this restaurant. We were so excited to see that the hostess, the chefs and most of the waiters were wearing masks since my wife is immunocompromised and having surgery on her airway on Monday. However when we approached the hostess she said - what are you anxious? My wife said she is immune compromised and would prefer a seat on the patio. She said people will be around you and maybe you should just eat at home in a snide tone. My wife explained we are from out of state so that’s not really an option and that the patio would be fine. Moments later the hostess follows the 1 non-masked waitress to our table. Of all the waiters. You know a little consideration would have gone a long way with this hostess given my wife’s condition so that she could have had the one meal she really wanted prior to surgery. But the hostess just seemed bent on trying to ruin our mid-afternoon lunch. We left. We didn’t know what else might be pulled and were to upset to spend another moment there.
Take my mother-in-law to lunch at On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina this past Monday. Our waiter was very nice. Inside the building was really cold so we decided to eat on the patio. The food was really fresh and temperature was cooked to perfection. We ordered an additional dish to take home to my father-in-law and they timed everything perfectly. Thank you.
It's like being in a high school cafeteria. The food was ok and I found it interesting that it had both Mexican food and Chinese food. To bad the loud music made the packed restaurant yell to keep up their conversations on top of that they had TV's on. I Don't recommend going during busy hours.
I ordered gluten free fajitas. I guess they soak there onions in soy sauce. So it made me sick. I have to ask why does a Mexican restaurant soak there onions in soy sauce. Why must you drench all food with wheat product's.
No help, old and run down. I think COViD really hurt them. Food okay, but I've certainly had better.

Our waitress was great! Margarita could have been a bit stronger but great flavor. The food was absolutely delicious ?
10/10 recommend their catering services. Online ordering was easy. Called the mills location several times with questions and always had prompt responses and organized help. Our order was on time, fresh, delicious and affordable!
Had lunch here with colleagues. Ordered a combo plate with a beef taco, chicken tinga enchilada, and a chili relleno. Came with excellent beans and rice. Loved the taco. Crispy perfection. The relleno was Crispy and gooey yumminess. Hated the tinga enchilada. The sour cream sauce was weird. Overall an excellent meal.
we usually love this place, but
Even though they are short staffed everyone was on top of their game. Please be patient and let them take the same amount of time on their other customers that you would like them to spend on you. Our waitress was also the bartender and she was splitting the customers with 1 other person.. She was amazing!!
