If you were looking for Vietnamese food, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. I have given this place so many chances and today was the last straw. Every single time that I've been here there's literally no one here, so I'm not sure how it stays open. The customer service is severely lacking in many ways and the food today was not even edible. I walked in at my lunch hour and questioned if they were even open as the interior was semi dark and not a soul was in there. The one lady that I did see working there was on a personal phone call and just pointed, from across the restaurant, towards some booths. I assumed that meant for me to go sit down somewhere over there. She finished her conversation on the phone and brought over a large glass of water with lemon in it. A few minutes later she realized that I didn't have a menu and decided to bring me a menu. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered the grilled pork spring rolls. As I was waiting for my order to come out, I decided to go to the bathroom to wash my hands. I wish I had done that before I had ordered because I would've just walked out. When I entered the women's bathroom, most of the lightbulbs were out, so it was difficult to see because it was mostly dark. I propped open the door with my foot since the sink was right there, just to have some light in the bathroom, but when I went to wash my hands, I literally could not do so. Both handles on the hot and cold were absolutely nonexistent on that sink. They appeared to be possibly a remnants of a handle sitting on the side of the sink. I'm not quite sure how the people working here are washing their hands after they use the restroom, but my guess is that they are not. It absolutely horrified me that the bathroom looked like that, and there was no way for anybody to wash their hands. Also, it makes me uncomfortable that none of the Sriracha sauces had proper lids. Having a hole in the lid like that is just asking for things to get into there. Shortly after I returned from the bathroom, my food came out. I took one bite and realized what a huge mistake that order was. The grilled pork inside was 90% gristle and fat. They were the scrawniest spring rolls I have ever had because the only thing inside was fat and lettuce. I've been eating Vietnamese food for over 30 years and these were hands-down the worst spring rolls I have ever seen or tasted. I had about three bites of one spring roll, and just got up, paid my bill, and left. Those three bites of a gristly disgusting spring roll cost almost $11 before tip. This place is overpriced, dirty, lacking in normal Vietnamese ingredients for their spring rolls, and an all-around disappointment.

Placed a to go order in the restaurant. The two ladies there were friendly and cordial. My items totaled $28.00. When she handed me the receipt to sign the grand total was $32.50. Sales tax in Golden is 7.5%. They charged over 16% tax on the order - more than twice sales tax in Golden, Colorado. When I asked about it, the lady pretended not to know English & understand. Bad business practice here!

I am writing this will food poisoning after eating at Pho Golden. I should not be surprised as, even with snow on the ground, the woman’s restroom had only ice cold water. The hot water handle had been broken off and removed. Clearly hygiene is of low importance to them. They served bad tasting food made with the cheapest possible ingredients while charging high prices. For example, I got the tofu spring rolls which contained only a tiny sliver of tofu with the rest being noodles and lettuce and came with a sickly sweet sauce. At minimum I was hoping that the rolls would contain any type vegetable: shredded carrot, pepper, cucumber, something!

I walked in for a to go and ordered the beef vermicelli bowl. I specifically asked for extra jalapeños, and I got exactly one slice of jalapeño. I also asked for chopsticks and they were ready to send me out the door without them.I could not seem to get a smile out of the lady behind the counter. I purposely approach people with a big smile and a joyful attitude, and this little lady behind the counter just wasn’t having any reciprocation whatsoever. One of the reviews I read mentioned PowerSaver mode and yes, the restaurant was dark, but it smelled really nice of incense for the Buddha. Big ups on the indoor plants!Overall, I think customer service and comprehensive English communication and fulfillment of guest wishes is where this place misses the mark in a big way.Oh, and yes, the price was pretty high. $18.50 a vermicelli noodle bowl.Meh! Good thing there’s lots of other great places to choose from up and down S. Golden Rd. This spot won’t be one of my go-to’s.

Absolutely ridiculous. No customer service. I ordered on their online menu THAT IS CLEARLY IN SERVICE! And when I went to go pick it up the lady at the counter said there was no online orders and sent me out.

Pretty good Pho, just a little expensive. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and I have seen the place quite busy before.

First time. Good broth good service. Nice folks. I forgot my wallet and cash and didn't realize it until I was ready to pay the bill. They understood, were kind, and let me go home and call with card to pay. Left a large tip for them. Thank you.

Really cool decor. The food was fine, but I was expecting more (flavor and/or quantity) based on the prices.

Used to be my go to place but they recently switched to Skipli as their ordering system and their prices went through the roof! $26 for singapore rice noodles that used to cost like $14 a few months ago - sad but no longer worth it. Also noticed the new Pho Canyon in Golden now has an identical menu with the same insane prices - guess I’m driving to Denver

Best pho I've ever had! Best Crab Wanton as well! I miss all the plants they used to have, but the food is so good!

Absolutely the best Pho. The broth is the most incredible I've ever had. And the crispy fried dumplings are super yummy too. Highly recommend.

Food was ok, portion was small and service could've been better. Also a bit pricier than anticipated.

Excellent food, the pho broth is incredible on its own. And the crab cheese wontons are some of the best I've ever had!

Stopped by here on my way through town very late so thank you to this resturant for being open. I got two dishes a rare steak pho and the chicken vermacelli. The food was cooked well, but the brown sauce served with the pho made the broth so sweet it was undrinkable. I chalk that up to user error, perhaps I added too much who knows. The chicken was great and full of ginger. The menu prices online didn't match those in store, so I was expecting to pay less (most things on the menu cost 17 not 13). Otherwise a great experience.
