We had our wedding here on 3/23/25 and it was absolutely perfect! Whatever we asked for or needed the team at the pines made it happen! I had zero stress the day of! Alexis went above and beyond the entire time to make sure everything went smoothly. We are from Texas so it was harder to do things over the phone, but Alexis made sure to go over each and every detail and answer every question. From the very beginning Liv did such a great job with the tour and helping us get started. The day of Alexis, Morgan, Matt, and the entire team were amazing, Morgan made sure to check on us frequently to see if we needed anything. I couldn’t recommend this venue and team enough.

Truly stellar experience, could not have asked for more. So great to have the ceremony flow directly into cocktails and dinner, all at a beautiful, classy spot in the mountains, yet an easy 20 minute drive from Denver.

We maxed capacity at the upper outdoor venue and the lower dining banquet area with 150 - just right. Timed it perfectly with weather nice enough for an outdoor ceremony, but preseason afforded us the entire venue without having to share it. Sunlight came through the evergreens just right for beautiful photos.

Cristen made sure all the planning was thorough with every detail covered and took a genuine, personal interest in us. Morgan made sure the dining experience was excellent. We received multiple compliments that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had (opt for salmon, herb chicken and roast beef). The package deal meant Wedgewood saved us time and money getting a great combination of vetted DJ, cook, bartenders, wait staff, decorations, & planner. So happy!

We had our wedding here on February 28th 2025. It was a great wedding experience. Everyone was so helpful and made it run very smoothly. I will break it down in three categories: the team, the venue, and why only four stars.

The team
Alexis, Liv, Emily, and Morgan were amazing. From the initial planning stages to the actual wedding, everything went smoothly. They were all super responsive which made it really easy to communicate time sensitive questions and decisions. They also were super flexible as my partner was on a 15-hour time difference so coordinating meetings were a little more difficult. But I never felt like they were annoyed or I was being a burden to them. This made the process much less stressful. They also accommodated our final meeting by moving it up a day for my mother to be able to make it. They also moved up our rehearsal time to allow one of our wedding party members to make it as well. During the wedding day, Alexis did such a good job taking care of all the details leading us to feel zero stress on the day of the wedding. Morgan finished the night and made sure to check in to see if we needed anything.

The venue:
The venue is great. Very beautiful. My partner loved all the wood that the venue had. There were lots of great places to take pictures. The reception room came together really really well and the food was delicious. There was not a single complaint about the food. And we had lots of different dietary needs at the wedding and all were met. We also had a guest that has been to lots of weddings and said the food is always bad, but after our wedding they said the food was actually great.

Why only four stars:
We chose to only give four stars due to the cost. You can go cheaper if you want but still it is a pretty hefty price. Otherwise five stars.

My fiancé and I toured at The Pines a few weeks ago in our hunt for a venue. This was our first tour, and we did not know what exactly to expect. First of all - the venue was beautiful and the food looked AMAZING! We toured with Claire, and she was extremely knowledgeable and kind. She knew the answers to all of my (many) questions and was very clear with the pricing of everything, which was extremely reasonable with everything that was provided in the package. It was very easy to talk through all the different factors and what if's with her. She had some great ideas for things we could do at the reception, and sent a very kind thank you letter after we toured.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Pines at Genessee Wedgewood for my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding! From the moment we arrived, they made sure everything went seamlessly, attending to every detail with professionalism and warmth. The entire team, especially Morgan, the event captain, went out of their way to ensure the day was perfect and that all of our needs were met. They were kind, courteous, and genuinely caring.

What really stood out to me was their extraordinary customer service. As the night was winding down, I found myself in a panic about the weather conditions, and Morgan stepped in with such compassion, calming me down. To top it off, Morgan had her amazing server sister, Claire, follow me down the mountain to make sure I got home safely. It’s rare to see such dedication, and it truly speaks to how much they care for their guests.

If you want a place that goes above and beyond in every way, I cannot recommend Pines at Genessee Wedgewood enough. They truly make you feel like family, and it shows that they love what they do.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I got married in Oct. 2024 at The Pines and it was the perfect venue for us.

From the moment we first toured the venue, we were blown away by how stunning it was—beautifully nestled in a picturesque setting that made for the most incredible backdrop to our special day.

The entire staff went above and beyond to make our wedding seamless and stress-free. A special shoutout to Ashley, our day-of coordinator, who was absolutely phenomenal! She was organized, attentive, and made sure every detail was just right. Her calm and caring presence helped us truly enjoy every moment without any worries.

The planning process was also incredibly smooth, thanks to the team’s expertise. They guided us every step of the way, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring everything aligned with our vision. The food was another highlight—our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was!

Most importantly, The Pines made us feel truly special from start to finish. We are so grateful for the incredible experience and would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a breathtaking, stress-free wedding day!

we got married at the pines this weekend and it was AMAZING! Our coordinator was Cristen and we couldn’t have asked for a more organized, well timed ceremony. It was beautiful. The food was delicious! Our banquet captain was amazing, too. The vendors they work with were also amazing! Thank you to everyone at the pines by wedgewood!

Beautiful venue

The Pines did a fantastic job with everything involved with our daughters wedding. The place was lovely and the service was great as well as the delicious food. Everyone was kind and helpful and on the ball. Only bummer was the Aspen leaves have dropped too soon. Maybe plant some other plants for behind the lower level event space for the backdrop when Mother Nature gets ahead of herself. Lol Thank a for helping my daughter have the wedding of her dreams!

Such a beautiful venue! We were here as a guest of our friends wedding and the views were stunning.

Plenty of food & drinks to go around. One of the guests split their chin while dancing, but the team at the venue were quick to respond and help in a difficult situation.
