Had an amazing time watching the college playoffs tonight! Had people cheering for both teams (in a friendly way) so it was a ton of fun. Our server Shea was awesome. She was always on top of all of our needs. While hustling from table to table, she still found time to stop by with a quick joke or comment to make us smile. Definitely recommend the Rock Rest

Had a disappointing experience at this bar on New Year's Eve. The food and drinks were good, and the service was friendly initially. However, a situation arose at the pool table that left a sour taste. Our group had been playing for a while, with other guests waiting their turn. An individual then insisted on playing next, disregarding the established order and the fact that there were bets on the table. While I understand that establishments may have their own house rules, I was surprised that the staff (specifically, the doorman) sided with the individual and instructed us to step aside. This is a significant departure from my experience at other bars, where such behavior would typically not be tolerated. Ultimately, this incident ruined our evening. I'm not inclined to spend money at a bar that prioritizes certain individuals, especially if it appears to be due to personal connections. It's unfortunate to see the decline in customer service and respect for patrons.
