Wonderful food and beer! The view is gorgeous. The young woman who served us has a humorous, sweet personality and she gave us great advice about the food and the portions.

My husband and I were visiting from Dallas and had a chance to eat brunch here. Zero regrets. Everything was wonderful. The food, the service, and the view were all great. Bonus: Golf course views and bottomless drink options during brunch.

I looking forward to a nice time, good food, and nice views based off the reviews, especially with family visiting. Overall very disappointing experience and food. The website and menu boasts how fresh everything is but such striking artificial, straight from a bag or bottle taste, was present throughout the entire meal including drinks. The food was subpar and lacking incredibly in flavor and depth. The waitress was sweet but overall attentiveness was lacking . As far as the atmosphere, the views were okay, the place could definitely use some updating especially their tables and chairs. Felt a little rundown for a golf course. Perhaps future renovations will lean into the dinosaur theme they have. Otherwise, the outdoor seating was boisterous from golf carts blasting obscene music and loud inappropriate conversations with no regard for other patrons. I’ve never seen this behavior in any similar establishments. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor would I return.

Love this place! Dining out on the patio is Is beautiful with golf course in mountain range view. Food and service very good. Salmon with succatash...yummy . Good kids menu too

A girls day out brought us to Footprints Restaurant at Fossil Trace golf course. Fabulous view while each of us enjoyed a different delicious entrée. Our server was very nice, but we did notice most attention by all servers seemed to be catering to tables where men gathered to drink. With that said, we had to wait to get our glasses of water refilled and remind our waitress about wanting our check two times.

Footprints at the Fossil Trace Golf Course absolutely blew us away. From the moment we stepped in, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our day great. The food? Phenomenal. Whether it was small bites, drinks, or a full meal, everything was fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. You’d never expect this kind of culinary quality at a golf course, but Footprints truly delivers.

And a big shoutout to the cart girls—fast, fun, and incredibly friendly. They kept the good vibes rolling and made sure everyone stayed refreshed throughout the round. It honestly felt like they were just as much a part of the experience as the course itself.

Combine all of that with the stunning views and pristine conditions of Fossil Trace, and it was easily one of the best golf days I’ve seen ever had. Footprints turned a great day of golf into an unforgettable one. Can’t wait to come back! Steve the manager is also amazing and made sure the group was taken care of!

I've eaten here twice now. Footprints has some seriously phenomenal food! The chicken sandwich might be the best I've ever eaten. The chipotle peach bbq sauce is absolutely fantastic and a must for dipping the sweet potato fries! The cheeseburger is also good. For the reasonable price, you get a lot of food.
The clubhouse is very cozy, and it's in a beautiful area. This restaurant is worth the drive down from Fort Collins.

Beautiful views but serious service issues. We are new in town and chose this restaurant for Father’s Day brunch because of the views. The young male host was prompt and attentive but the waitresses were slow and inattentive. Our table had no salt and pepper shakers. My daughter waited about 20 minutes for her milk. Our coffees were skimpy and no refills were had. We asked for it but service was so slow, it never came. My husband ordered the bison sausage breakfast. His dish arrived without said sausage and when someone finally showed up to check on us, they brought him chicken sausage (sigh…). Orders would come out and waiters went around asking different tables who ordered what. The food itself was good and portions were generous. However, I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant based on the poor service and lack of attention to detail, inexcusable in a serious establishment. I should add that the place was nearly empty when we showed up and that didn’t make any difference in the speed or quality of the service.

Amazing, must visit if in the area

*Our large family was there because my granddaughter was finishing elementary school and because she loves “the fireworks,” that was her choice. We all enjoyed it and the food was all SO good! Thank you.
** We had reservations for 7:15 and didn’t get seated until 8:00. That was indeed very disappointing! I understand that it is all time-consuming entertainment that you do, but it was hard standing outdoors for 30 minutes before we could get an indoor bench seat for sitting and waiting. Maybe it was a one time crowd problem or something, but it was a very long wait for dinner, plus the standing.
Your food is delicious!! and I’m sorry if this was an unusual, one-time, scheduling problem for you, too.
** You definitely did not have enough chefs - and we couldn’t eat without a chef at our table. We waited for the chef to cook and serve the WHOLE table next to us before he could even come to our table. So it was pretty boring until he got there. Too loud to visit - except with the person next to each person - and we were very hungry! I hope it was a one-time problem - but we did have a reservation so we expected service within 10 minutes or so, not an hour! Thank you. You can see I’ll hesitate to plan a group reservation - and definitely won’t come without a reservation! Eventually we loved your food and the entertaining chef. Thx k you.

This is a golf club restaurant. Lunches are great and staff is wonderful.
