This is a super beautiful restaurant right in the heart of Golden. Walking in, I was feeling very hopeful because there was an extensive menu of Asian food and beautiful scenery. The service was quick and accommodating, and I had a Groupon that the wait staff made very clear how to use.My brother and I ordered the Sherpa sampler, an appetizer plate of veggie momos, and a mango lassi (they were all out of mango juice). The food was unfortunately VERY disappointing- the momos were alright, and it was a good portion for an appetizer (6 pieces). The mango lassi was sweet but had a bit of an unpleasant thickness in texture. The Sherpa sampler was what really disappointed us- it came with rice, chicken tika masala, lamb curry, Chana masala, tandoori chicken, lentil soup, kheer, and rice. The portions were very tiny and the quality looked questionable. The naan it came with was stale and flavorless, as was the curry dishes in my opinion. The Chana masala and lentil soup were liquidy and the lamb stew was very strong. The tandoori was two over glorified drumsticks, and the lamb curry was very pungent. The best part was the chicken tika masala, but everything else on the platter was a sore disappointment.It’s a very fun location with very kind staff and a great Groupon deal, just be aware with what you order. I would not reccomend the platter, but I can’t speak to their fresh-made curries and other types of Asian cuisine (far more than just Indian).

What a great place!! I've traveled to Nepal twice, so I was excited when a friend recommended this restaurant during a recent visit to Colorado. Take some time to look around, the place is nicely decorated. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has many options with vegetarian and non vegetarian options. There are several traditional Nepalese dishes and some Indian dishes. Definitely try the tea!!!
