Very good! Fair prices. Good food. Large portions.
My husband said it was the best enchilada he has had in a very long time! Street tacos were authentic. Salsas delicious.
5 stars!

Best Mexican food in the area!

Food was below average for a decent Mexican place, and the service was quite poor. We had three different people wait on us, we had to ask for a drink order, and no one even asked how the food was. The horchata was nasty tasting. We won't be coming back again.

This place is run by crooks.

I used to love this place but the last four times I've gone there they've tried to overcharge me. It's never much, usually $2 to $4, but it's always something. We always laugh it off but it was so blatant this last week it really made me angry.

My most recent experience was last week. First, I would like to say we've really always loved the food here, bad math not withstanding. So we ordered our food. My wife got a Pina Colada, $11.79 on the menu, and flautas, $11.99 on the menu (for 3 beef or chicken). She asked for 2 beef, 1 chicken. When we got the bill, we were charged $14.99 for the Pina Colada and $2.79 sub for the Chicken flauta but there was no mention of a sub fee on the menu or from the waiter at the time of order. We mentioned it to the bill overage to the server, who called the manager over and the manager tried to wave us off saying it was our mistake but my wife was insistent and asked to see the menu. The Pina was clearly $11.79. Sure it's only a $3.31 for the drink and $2.79 for the sub but it happens every.single.time.

They probably don't care but they're losing long time (20 + years) customers.

People. CHECK YOUR BILLS.

I ordered the Tacos al Carbon. Looked and tasted like I got the remainder of the meat that was left in the pan. It was dry, crunchy and burnt and tasted like old grease. One bite was all it took. I didn't return it since I invited my family for lunch here. I guess they thought it was okay to charge me for dried up food and thought they could get away with serving me their scraps. We will never go there again, very disappointed.🤮

We did a take out order and found it to be very poor quality food.
It was not fully cooked and the taste quality was less than a Taco Johns...

I love authentic mexican food. Me, my wife, my co-worker, & my boss all went there after work one late afternoon and we didn't really get cleaned up right after work remodeling a home on 16th and youngsfield ( a couple blocks away ). When we got there we were treated as though we couldn't pay for our meal and that they thought we were homeless. They looked down their noses at us and wouldn't come to refresh our drinks for very long periods of time. I asked for good hot sauce and ( no disrespect to tobasco sauce but i don't consider it authentic mexican hot sauce ) they kept laughing at us and wouldnt give me what i was asking for until our food finally became cold. I got very upset after such treatment for such a long time. Being in the people business they should know not to judge a customer from the way they look. If you don't like people don't work in the people business.
