Great venue! The only thing I would add is to have a gluten-free beer option at the venue. We like having dinner and drinks at the restaurant and then walking over for the music. It's hard to go from having a beer to hard liquor afterwards and would prefer to have a can of Holidaily while watching the music.

The Rose, as a venue, is fantastic in its own right. The space is gorgeous with exposed brick and a great dance floor. The real value of The Rose, though, is the people. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the venue coordinators are. From the moment we toured the venue, it was clear that the staff would and did go so far beyond what was expected to ensure that we had the most wonderful day. They are organized, helpful, and professional at level, and without them, there is no chance our wedding day would have been the amazing day it was. They so very clearly care deeply about making a special day, and they so clearly have the knowledge and skillset to make it happen.

We had the most fantastic wedding reception at The Rose! Everything we dreamed of for our special day happened exactly as planned. First of all, location: in the heart of Golden, so fun and easy for everyone to explore and get in and out of. The rustic-industrial decor of the venue is SO cool, the State Bar upstairs is fabulous with bohemian-chic vibes overlooking Washington St (Golden's main street), not to mention the delicious food menu, amazing drink options, great sound system and the WONDERFUL staff, which made everything happen flawlessly! It was an unforgettable night for us and our guests. We are beyond happy!

I indulged in the Mac and cheese with steak. It was outstanding. My friend had the shrimp ceviche and honestly it had a LOT of onion, and it kind of overwhelmed the less pronounced diced shrimp. We split a bottle of my favorite wine (The Crossings). My friend loved her dessert but I have to agree that pie with ice cream crammed into a warm glass did look gorgeous but it was super hard to eat without spilling it all over the place. Service was excellent as always. Well worth a trip!
Getting married at The Rose was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The venue itself is breathtaking.. it has so much history, character, and charm. It’s not just a place to host a wedding, it’s an experience. Many of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how unique and stunning the setting was, and how perfectly located it is. From the moment we walked in, it felt like the kind of place where memories live forever.
The staff made the entire experience seamless. Everyone was kind, attentive, and on top of everything from the very beginning. We chose the Mexican buffet for dinner, and it was absolutely phenomenal.. our guests raved about it all night long. The bar service was also outstanding. Every bartender went above and beyond, keeping drinks full and energy high throughout the entire night.
But as incredible as the venue and staff were, the absolute best part of our entire experience was Patrica. I don’t even know if words can do justice to who she is and what she did for us. I have never met someone so hardworking, caring, and genuinely passionate about their work. Her communication is extraordinary.. she doesn’t just keep you in the loop, she makes you feel completely supported and understood every step of the way.
From day one, Patricia was there for us in every single detail: walkthroughs, tastings, worksheets, endless questions.. you name it, she handled it with grace and precision. She is incredibly detailed and organized, and because of her, we never once felt the “wedding stress” that everyone warns you about. She made planning feel easy, enjoyable, and even fun. By the month of our wedding, we literally had nothing left to do, because Patricia had made sure everything was already taken care of. That sense of calm she gave us was priceless.
Our family and wedding party were blown away at the rehearsal, we spent the whole night talking about how impressed we were with Patricia. And when the wedding day came, it was effortless. We didn’t worry about a single thing. Even our DJ and photographer kept telling us how incredible Patricia was and how much easier she made things for them too. She not only ensured our vision came to life, she made the entire day flow beautifully for everyone involved.
Patricia is so much more than a coordinator or a vendor to us.. she has truly become a friend. We are endlessly grateful for her and everything she has done. It’s honestly bittersweet because while we’re so thankful, we know we will miss her deeply. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Patricia, for making our wedding not only beautiful but also stress-free and full of joy. I was not impressed with my buffalo burger, and the salmon that my friend ordered was not fully cooked and we had to send it back. My wife's bacon sandwich only had one slice of avocado.. Our waitress was very pleasant. That was the highlight of the evening.

Even on the day of the wedding, I knew I could completely relax because I trusted that she had it all handled. And she absolutely did! It truly was the perfect day, and I owe a huge part of that to Patricia!
Now for the Rose Event Center, not only is it a beautiful and historic building that all our guests raved about, but the staff is truly unmatched. I don’t think my husband or I had a single moment we didn’t have a full drink in hand because they were attentive. Not only that but the food is incredible!! Not to be bias, but it was the best wedding food I have ever had, and they did an amazing job of helping us craft the perfect wedding menu. We cannot thank the Rose enough for giving us the most beautiful day and we would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone!

The waiter was very quick with taking our orders, delivery of food and drinks and check closeout but was fairly robotic and devoid of personality and any welcoming behavior. Not what we have experienced previously but generally ok (not good or great if that is the objective).
