Buffalo Rose, Strong menu, plenty of choices, including for my Gluten Free wife. Food was very fresh, margarita was ok, not outstanding. Ambience was great, open patio and comfortable indoors as well. Service was very professional, offered alternatives that the kitchen could do to meet our dietary needs, and food arrived fairly quickly despite a full restaurant on a Saturday night. Definitely would go come back.

We hosted an out of town guest who had a dog. We looked for a restaurant in Golden, although we had never visited there. It is a charming small town. Buffalo Rose was a winner. They love dogs. The servers and service were exceptional. The food was excellent and generous. Absolutely no complaints!

Dirty restaurant. Disgusting bathroom. Cold food. Waitress brought food back after “top cook in the kitchen fixed it for me” (her words)and it was a bit warm but now extremely dry.

We owe our sincerest thanks to Emily Ridenour, our coordinator and wedding-planning wizard, as well as Patricia Zutman for the speedy and informative communication from the get-go.
When deciding on the initial aspects of our ideal wedding, an all-inclusive and budget friendly venue were at the top of our list. The Rose exceeded any and all expectations that we had in those aspects and more - so much so that it was the only venue (out of 30+ corresponded with) that we viewed and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From initial contact, Patricia and her team were direct and transparent with what the Rose offers and how we could make our dream day a reality. After solidifying our decision, we were blessed to work with Emily prior to and the day of our wedding. She kept in constant communication with us throughout the planning process and made sure we had everything covered along the way.
I cannot fully articulate how incredibly amazing Emily is at planning and executing an event without a hitch! In addition to her assistance with planning and day-of coordination, we added her decor/set-up/tear down service - as a DIY bride this was an absolute blessing and truly brought my vision to life. We received countless compliments throughout the night (and to this day) about how awesome Emily was and how perfectly the night went.
Along with Emily and Patricia, we are truly grateful to all the amazing staff that helped make our wedding as magical as it was. The bartenders, servers, and cooks (and everyone in between) made the experience an unforgettable one for us and our guests. The Rose's food is beyond words in terms of quality, look and taste. We had the 14er Buffet Style Menu and were obsessed with the beef medallions and pork loin. Drinks were made consistently perfect and there was never a line for 100 guests!
We cannot thank the Rose enough for giving us the most beautiful day. We will ALWAYS recommend them #1 to anyone looking for their dream team & venue <3

Their professionalism, organization, and warmth made the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the night of the event, everything ran flawlessly—the venue looked stunning, the staff was attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for. We hosted our 30th Anniversary Party at The Rose and we were delighted with the entire experience! From the initial tour, contracting, planning with Patricia, day of preparations to the end of the party, everything was easy and the event was pulled off smoothly, by all impressions, effortless. Patricia and the staff (Adam, Shane, Mara, Nicole, Ellie, Kaylee, Dano) were fun, professional and attentive. The space itself is so cool and the location in the heart of Golden was ideal for visiting guests. I couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue!

What a great place for an event. The bartenders were great, the food was amazing the layout is perfect for a good mix of guests. It has a front area for socializing, mid area for dinner tables, dance floor and stage for live bands and dancing and upper areas for the teen crowd to watch their parents party but have their own zone to come and go from. I was really impressed! I attended an anniversary blow out party for over 100 attendees and this was the perfect venue.

So we made reservations for a "Motown Brunch" and it was such a poorly organized event. Firstly, they played very little Motown music, which was the point of the brunch. Multiple parties were complaining, not just us. Secondly, what they were playing was just on full blast to the point we could not even talk at our own table. It was so cold in the restaurant, we could not take off our jackets throughout the brunch. Lastly, they were out of multiple items (as we were the first reservation time slot of the day). Overall, I would NOT recommend this venue- not for a themed brunch, not for the environment, not for the food. Bust for us and we will take our patronage elsewhere.
