Ask for Jason. Awesome small rv park next to a rushing river. $78 per night is a steal. Everything is walking distance.

Try the cinnamon roll. It is ridiculously good. Only weekends and they sell fast

Just waited 25min for a Latte. Told them I had to get on tour bus and could they try and hurry up.
Made no difference.
Had to leave without it.
We're from the UK and used to poor service, but expected better form US..

The is the best cafe in Golden! The Windy Saddle Cafe is our family's go-to breakfast and lunch restaurant. Whenever we leave Golden, I grab two scones for the road on my way out of town. 😋

Awesome cafe, awful service

Love the food and atmosphere. Recommend breakfast burritos and overall sandwiches. Decently priced and accessible to bar. Parking is obviously terrible (downtown Golden) but worth the trip. Dog friendly and has bathrooms!!!

Laid back atmosphere with outdoor tables.

Great cafe in downtown Golden. Friendly staff, fair prices and wide selection of food and beverages. Great place to spend an afternoon after a hike in the area. Will come again next time I’m in town.

Nice little cafe just under the “Welcome to Golden,” sign. Enjoyed a beer with lunch, had the Thunderbird turkey sandwich. Food is good, the service is decent, the atmosphere is terrific!

I hate to leave a bad review but I’ve never had a good experience at this place with drinks only. A couple of years ago we ordered drip coffees around 12:30PM and they were completely cold and the staff had retreated to the kitchen. I’ve tried this place out two separate times since then and the wait time has been horrendous for a coffee shop, the matcha latte was bad, and staff was far from welcoming. Lesson learned this final time. Their food might be fine (I’ve never had it), but their drinks and service leave a lot to be desired.

Popped in to pick up a quick coffee before our walk, unfortunately it held our day up for over 30 minutes they were a little bit busy, but nothing crazy - definitely feels like a long time to wait for two lattes - staff need to hustle a little harder especially when soliciting tips
