This place is uncommonly good, a true hidden gem. There's a lot of Mexican food in the Golden area, and I'm certain this is the best one by a wide margin.
The food is authentic, well portioned, and so flavorful. Drinks are served in clay jugs, and are made just right.
This is everything a restaurant should be.

I had been eager to go to Xicamiti for a few years and it was well worth it! I order the smothered chicken burrito and a side of black beans.

The burrito and beans were phenomenal, and came with a side of their homemade hot sauce. The hot sauce is for sale there and I bought a bottle. Very pleased with the entire experience!

Great service and flavor spot on in the sauces, meat and toppings. 4 stars for the less durable tortillas cannot enjoy a taco if the tortillas are falling apart. (Double tortilla or well cooked tortillas would have been better) The pinwheels replacing the typical chips n dips is a good touch, but a small portion. Had the shrimp and campechano tacos.

Excellent food! We love their tacos, they load them up with meat and fresh ingredients! Their catering service is the best as well. Always consistent food and the meats delicious. It’s never too greasy and the flavor combos are spot on. Been our go to place for years for tacos and have never found a better option. Excited for the work going around them to restore the buildings and make the area look nicer.

Wonderful food and fantastic service. The Al pastor tacos were full of flavor and the beans were some of the best I’ve had. We ordered to go and I was impressed with the care taken when packing the food.

A hidden gem of Golden. The owner/ chef was our server which makes me so happy. He has put a lot of care into the menu and his recipes. The little touches make a world of a difference. The margarita was amazing and came in a cool cup. This restaurant had been recommended by many and I will continue to recommend it. Outdoor and indoor seating with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Golden!
