Jennifer and the Granby Ranch team were amazing and made my proposal absolutely perfect. I'm from the Washington, DC area and had no clue what I'd be getting, but I'm overwhelmed with how great of a job this team did. I got to meet the entire team (Jennifer, Ski Lift Operators, Restaurant Staff) beforehand and helped things go off without a hitch. This space is meant for weddings, but the team helped transform the site to fit exactly what I was looking for. Everything from the customized lift passes to the bridal yurt made this special event even more special. Going into this sight-unseen was nerve-racking, but Jennifer and team couldn't have made things easier for me. The view was stunning and provided a romantic spot that can't be beat.
I recommend checking out Granby Ranch for any proposal or ceremony, they do a fantastic job and provide a personal touch you won't get most places. Thank you to Jennifer and team!
Great place for trail running during the summer. Fraser Canyon to Nature's Way makes for a punishing ascent with rewarding views at the top before a leisurely downhill run back to the base. (Also a great place for skiing in winter)
Great bike park! A little bit of everything for everyone. The lift staff is fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Had lunch at the base as well. Really good food! Typical resort prices, but quite delicious. We will definitely be back there again.
We have a condo and have a large family group that goes annually. It’s perfect for families especially adventurous younger kids because they can easily be found. I love taking my time snowboarding and my 4yo was on green/blue this year thanks to the awesome ski school and lessons. We love the small size of Granby. The fire pit, snow bar, and bistro food are also perks!
Great place especially for a first time ski trip! I had been skiing before but my kids hadn’t. They had great lessons and their lesson coordinator (I think her name is Rachel) was a rockstar!!! We had a big group with many first timers and they helped out so much. So glad we went here instead of Winter Park.
Beautiful. Great place to take your family. My nephew’s learned to snowboard here. They had a 2 1/2 hour lesson and snowboarding nonstop for the next two days. Kids pick things up so fast. We were rented a condo with the base of the mountain, which made the vacation perfect. Their restaurant there has spectacular food. Lift tickets were quick and easy to pick up and the ski rental had very experienced people working in it. I really have no complaints about this place at all. Everything was so extremely convenient. It’s very easy to keep track of your kids here and it’s never crowded. And we were here on spring break so the only time the lines got crowded was between two and 530 but that was only because it was spring break and it still wasn’t that long of a wait.
Wonderful experience! Skiing was great. Loved the food. Will be back.
Great place to learn how to ski. The slopes are family friendly. Our ski instructor CJ was amazing. Very patient, down to earth and taught my family and I helpful ski tips.
This was our first time taking our kiddos skiing . It was perfect ! Great size for beginners and also had nice blues and blacks . We did miss out on lessons due to us not booking soon enough . There’s a perfect small slope for starters with its own lift that I bet my kids road down at least fifty times! There’s also a nice long “family pass” green that was really nice for starters . Staff were super nice and helpful . Will be back !
Granby Ranch was the perfect venue for our intimate destination wedding. Jennifer and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. From the very beginning, Jennifer was incredibly accommodating to our small, close-knit celebration.
The property itself was breathtaking, with vibrant fall colors, sunny blue skies, and a stunning mountain backdrop in early October. The chairlift ride to Vista Ridge for our ceremony was such a special touch—it gave us a quiet, unforgettable moment to soak it all in after the ceremony.
The resort staff delivered 10/10 service—helpful, polite, and attentive in every way. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with our last-minute request to use their AV setup and dance floor, which they graciously arranged without hesitation.
Granby Ranch and Jennifer made our wedding dreams a reality, and we will forever be grateful for their exceptional service and support!

We came for a wedding and stayed for 5 days, staff was perfect and the views from the top were breathtaking.
Nearby activities: Pool, dirt bikes, walks.
Walkability: Take the lift to the top and then walk down. If you are a novice trail walker, bring a walking stick.

This place is a joke- want to ride the chair lift up one time in the summer? You know, up the less than 3000 vertical?? $20 a person. This is also without a bike.
For going through multiple lawsuits, including one that resulted in a death, you’d think leadership would be more reasonable. But no! For $20 you too may get to fall off a chairlift.
Avoid.

Granby ranch was an amazing place to ski. However, the best part of Granby ranch was the service. The people there were so kind and friendly. The ski school was so kind to my children. My son did not like snowboarding and they exchanged his snowboard for skis no questions asked. It was a great place for my kids to learn how to ski. Thanks again Granby ranch
