Granby Ranch was the perfect venue for our intimate destination wedding. Jennifer and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. From the very beginning, Jennifer was incredibly accommodating to our small, close-knit celebration.
The property itself was breathtaking, with vibrant fall colors, sunny blue skies, and a stunning mountain backdrop in early October. The chairlift ride to Vista Ridge for our ceremony was such a special touch—it gave us a quiet, unforgettable moment to soak it all in after the ceremony.
The resort staff delivered 10/10 service—helpful, polite, and attentive in every way. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with our last-minute request to use their AV setup and dance floor, which they graciously arranged without hesitation.
Granby Ranch and Jennifer made our wedding dreams a reality, and we will forever be grateful for their exceptional service and support!

We came for a wedding and stayed for 5 days, staff was perfect and the views from the top were breathtaking.
Nearby activities: Pool, dirt bikes, walks.
Walkability: Take the lift to the top and then walk down. If you are a novice trail walker, bring a walking stick.

This place is a joke- want to ride the chair lift up one time in the summer? You know, up the less than 3000 vertical?? $20 a person. This is also without a bike.
For going through multiple lawsuits, including one that resulted in a death, you’d think leadership would be more reasonable. But no! For $20 you too may get to fall off a chairlift.
Avoid.

Granby ranch was an amazing place to ski. However, the best part of Granby ranch was the service. The people there were so kind and friendly. The ski school was so kind to my children. My son did not like snowboarding and they exchanged his snowboard for skis no questions asked. It was a great place for my kids to learn how to ski. Thanks again Granby ranch

Friend and I rode DH at Granby Ranch today. Trails were great for early season and the staff really smashed the button on customer service. Anthony and Tom in the bike shop ROCK !
Walkability: Walk from Condo to the slopes was very short. Easy to get on slopes or lifts from multiple different spots.
Food & drinks: Not as many options for food as other resorts but for being a small resort, the options were reasonable.

What can I say, a paradise, another planet, we are from Puerto Rico and we went to live the experience of skiing and snow tubing, but we were impressed by the place so central to everything.

This is just a great ski resort! Wonderful location! Wonderful staff, great teachers at the ski school! I think I like it because it’s not too big and it’s not too small and it’s absolutely beautiful here! We look forward to coming back again next year!

I really liked the slopes although since it was already March they were already a little icy. To get there you have to pass many pear-shaped curves!Rooms: ComfortableNearby activities: As for activities, we moved to winter park because Granby is very small.Safety: My daughter fell while learning to snowboard and the medical help came quickly and treated herFood & drinks: A little bit of everything, prices like any ski resortNoteworthy details: The kindness of the people

I think we’ll return, there are some definite upsides to this ski resort— particularly parking, ease of access, and overall # of people on the mountain. It is cheaper than, say, Winter Park, but not proportionately cheaper relative to the # of runs, length of runs, amenities, etc. So it’s a trade off you have to consider — money savings vs overall experience. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We love Granby Ranch. Granby is our favorite place to ski! My kids learned how to ski here at their ski school 3 years ago and we come back every year because it’s perfect for our family. This year I tried cross country skiing for the first time and my sister, who has never skied at all before, joined me. The golf course trails were a little melted due to the warm weather but the Nordic trials the quick lift takes you to were amazing! I don’t think many people come here to cross country ski as we didn’t see more than a couple on the trail, but man was it great. It was the best ski day I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it. As it was our first time XC skiing, we timed our route wrong and were still working our way back when the lift to get us down was closing. We called Ski Patrol and Mitch (the dispatcher) was so kind and told us if we weren’t at the lift before close that it was no problem and ski patrol would get us - we almost made it, but not quite! Alex from Ski Patrol was so great - he came and got us both and took us down the mountain on a snow mobile! It was AWESOME and a really memorable way to end our day. Thank you to Alex and Mitch for getting us back to base! Thank you to Granby for another awesome trip!!
